Well said OP. I do play mostly on my XBOne right now, but I love being able to jump on my wii u every now and then. There truly are some gems on that system! It may not be the most powerful, but neither were the ps3 and 360 compared to now-gen and there were some pretty great games on those systems.

Im counting on there to be a new revised system. As much as I do love my xb1, it is a very unsightly monstrosity as far as looks go and its a lot of wasted space. Always good to see the wii u get some love! If 3rd party devs dont want to support it just leaves more room for the smaller devs and pubs to shine. Watch the wii u version be the top seller... Having a map constantly displayed on the gamepad is a feature that will make this version superior. Smartglass implementation on the xb1 version will be good too, but the gamepad was made for these kinds of games.

I cant stand how Ubisoft keeps churning these games out! I want to love the games, and Im in the minority since I actually enjoyed Unity, but take a year off for frig sake! Unity's main issue was the boneheaded move of making it online all-the-time. Thats why it ran like crap! I turned my online settings off completely while playing and it ran MUCH smoother. Everyone so up in arms about this but there was no MS advert in there. Remember last gen when it was Sony deliberately showing pre rendered stuff and calling it in game footage of stuff like killzone 2? No. Didnt think so. Take your fanboy goggles off people and just enjoy the damn game.
EA has really stepped up their game, with a few exceptions. NHL 15 for example. Ubisoft has gotten worse than EA IMO. Theyve taken and adopted what was bad about EA and ran with it. At least their games drop by 50% or so within the first couple months. Its such a shame what they have done to AC and Splinter Cell. Not to mention the Watch Dogs debacle. You just cant trust them anymore.

Landslide, no way. But it was sweet to see these two games! I have been dying to see the Shenmue series reach a proper conclusion and had all but lost any sort of hope! Some of my best gaming memories are on the beloved Dreamcast. But, 2017.
