I've got him on my friends list and he really has been playing that nonstop for quite awhile now. I've been waiting for him to record some game clips but he hasn't slipped up yet! As much as I'm looking forward to this, I'm just as excited for TR. I'll be getting a little fix of both on Tuesday! If TR gets buried by the Fallout hype it's not my fault, I'm supporting both cuz they both look incredible.
I pre-ordered this day one, but after these unboxings decided it wasn't for me. Feels like a rip off since they didn't include the season pass and the thing is alot uglier than I imagined. Instead of just canceling my pre-order I just put it on eBay and sold it for $210. With that I will now buy the Best Buy bundle that does include the season pass and I will be able to get Tomb Raider and Black Ops 3 as well. Works for me.
So many different opinions on this it's crazy! Probably the most polarizing game in a decade. I got it free with my Amazon Destiny PS4 bundle last week and I've yet to dive in, but I want to asap. These negative Nancy's make me want to enjoy it that much more.

Did you play the game? Dull, repetitive, and on rails? Lol. Game is a solid 9. Crazy weapons, sick gameplay, and great graphics/art style make this a must own. It's the reason I bought my xbone for this. It's ratchet and clank meets infamous with a splash of old school Tony Hawk pro skater. Sad this isn't a new franchise and probably just a one off.
I loved this game as I'm a huge insomniac fan. I wish it would have sold more so we could get a sequel, it's criminally underrated in my opinion. I see no reason it shouldn't be on PS4 as well. Shit I'd buy a PS4 copy too just for the trophies! Probably the most fun, hardest to put down game I've played this gen so far.
If this was PS4 exclusive all the xboxers would be getting it raw from Sony boys. This is why I pony up the loot for all the systems. To say you don't care about this game cuz its not coming to your fave system this year is lame. This game will be amazing and I'll be playing day one, as soon as I finish my Fallout 4 marathon session!
I typically hate these remasters because it's usually for games better left in the previous gen. But Bioshock collection is one I can get behind. The PC versions were so much better looking that the console versions that it makes sense to give console gamers the better versions now that the tech has been updated to be more in line with PC quality. Plus, I don't mind double dipping on achievements/trophies when the games are worth another playthrough.
Actually, it just means you missed out on some great Nintendo games. Starfox was looking not so great and the wise move was made to delay it until its ready. Im glad because releasing it when they were planning was going to result in disaster anyway. Who among true Ninty fans thought this would release this year anyway?!?!
Pretty accurate assessment. I've spent about 8 hours with the game so far and I've got that sinking feeling. It's just so blah and same as last year. Series needs a major overhaul.

I'm a long time player and am very disappointed with this year's game so far. Sure last year's version was lacking modes, but this year's edition should not get a free pass just because those modes have been implemented. The game itself is fine when in single player. It's fast, gorgeous, and the new tutorial implementation is actually pretty cool. Wow that was horrible! Not even close to splatoon quality, and calling it squid wars proves how much of a rip off it is. If Splatoon is a full course meal, this is the diarrhea of a week old mc Donald's meal.
Just watched the video... Wow! I am pretty far in, but I havent experienced anything like that holy crap! Thats just a pretty random bug though, it happens. This is being WAY overblown, but it does suck for the person who has to restart from 61% complete. But my experience on the Xbox One has been great, this is a phenomenal game! Dont let a couple of random bugs scare you away if you are on the fence.
Better surpirses, yes. Better show? MS brought some pretty compelling software stuff, but nothing really super surprising. FF7 and Shenmue 3 take the cake for best e3 surprise announcements for sure. But the fact that most of what MS showed is out THIS YEAR is what does it for me. Its almost too much and Ill probably just end up playing fallout until Xenoblade X comes out in December for wii U.

Right. ITs a good time for gamers regardless of platform of choice. Im glad I can afford to play the games I want to regardless of console. Those 2 games will surely be good, as well as some of the other stuff sony showed. But MS really brought the good stuff and its coming out this year. Thats huge.
I'm thankful that my wife hasn't complained about my fallout 4 and tomb raider binge the last couple weeks. I'm especially thankful considering we have a 2 yr old and a one month old in the house. This makes me even more thankful that game consoles now essentially pause any game when you shut them off. Picking up exactly where I left off after an hour of burping and diaper changing is a huge relief!
