I was gonna get this day 1, but i got a hella deal on Newegg for $29.99 so i will be waiting a few more days for the shipping. Cannot wait to delve into this after suffering through last gen's final fantasy travesties.
we need more $20 and $30 games! Looking at a store shelf full of $60 games that should be half that is sickening. Theres too many "me too" games and people are going with what they know. Gaming is like comfort food for a lot of people, they go with what they know. It dont even matter if its a good product or not anymore, its all pretty packaging and marketing.

Titanfall 1 should have been on ps4 from the jump, or TF 2 should have stayed Xbox exclusive. Theres a bit of an identity association crisis there and I think it had a negative impact on the sales. Xbox One had Titanfall bundles and all that jazz, then they put everything into Battlefield 1 this time around instead. Had MS and EA done those bundles again TF2 would have got some visibility. Wow didnt see that coming. Glad more people will get to play this and hope they fix all of the problems the wii u version had. If they spruce it up good enough it will be a winner on Xbox and Playstation. Its literally Lego GTA and essentially a GTA game that is appropriate for kids to play. Hopefully they wont try to sell it full price either. $30 is reasonable, $20 is a day 1 buy.
They should start by making the Gold Editions of their games sell for $60 at launch. If they want to have "base" versions, sell them for $40 and the games with season passes and extra dlc should be the full $60 rather than $80 to $100 theyre trying to get now.

Idk if its the ps4 version or what, but on the xbox one s im having a great time 5 hours in. There are some glitches here and there but its an open world game you have to expect bugs and technical issues to crop up. Story is great, on foot gameplay and gunplay feel great. My local redbox has it in stock so ill take a rental and judge for myself. But im fully expecting this to be 20$ on black friday so ill be waiting anyway. But no way this game is less than an 8 if you like the mafia games. Its not GTA so dont go in expecting that and judge it based on its own merit rather than bias.
Loving it! Game is nutso if you are a fan of Gears you are in for a hell of a ride. If your not a gears fan, well... Get the hell off these articles and go play the games you do like. I wouldn't go by this review. I got my copy today (physical ult edition) delivered by best buy and have not been able to put it down since this afternoon. Ive got it paused now on the toilet writing this. Great sp so far halfway through act 2. Amazing graphics and classic gears. Story had me hooked from the jump. Good stuff. Easily a 9, this is an amazing game. The coalition gets an A from me so far.
