I sold many people on PS4 just because of Spider Man. Thats a good exchange right there. I dont really think PlayStation would struggle without CoD though. It cant be that much longer for that CoD...

Yet they all turned out to be great systems with lots of gems, except for Jaguar. Wii U was a criminally underrated system. The Gamepad implementation of Zelda Twilight Princess was incredible! I was so disappointed they removed it altogether for Breath of the Wild because they wanted "parity" with the Switch version. Its a shame and it was a lame excuse.

Looks good but the Splatoon 3 Edition looks a bit better IMO. I grabbed that one its pretty nice. Happy to see them doing limited edition consoles. Its a great way for them to continue drawing interest to the Switch.

Well I play the majority of 3rd party stuff on Xbox. For one, most of them run better and have free X/S updates. I play the PS5 exclusives, that's it. I don't really play any 3rd party stuff on the PS5.
Several of those 3rd party games are part of GP but full price on PS5. That's an easy choice. Why would you pay if you can play with the sub? Hell even The Show was on GP but $70 on ps5. Also I'm still playing thru some of the Xbox One games that I missed las...
Curious if its a paid expansion or free for those who hung around after the launch debacle? I need to finish the main game still. Always wanted to dive back in after the X and PS5 updates but never got around to. Probably just start a whole new game at this point.
Wow I didnt think anyone else remembered Sudeki! That was a decent game for the time. Loved the art style and ot was pretty fun. LO and BD definitely deserved sequels or more games developed by those teams.
Hoping its an entirely new game and not just the 1st game redone. The kind of psychological terror in SH is much more my style than the gore in something like Resident Evil. Still love RE, but prefer the sheer terror and feeling of dread in SH.
Pretty good numbers all around considering the current economic climate. Just proves that people still want consoles. The console hardware market is alive and well so all this BS about consoles dying needs to go away. I will always support the consoles and cant imagine a world without them. Who cares which one is selling the most, we should be embracing them all so they keep making them!

When they're bringing in award winning writing talent from the likes of games like Control and Dishonored I'd say it's in pretty good hands. Plus, playground opened a whole second studio to work on the game and have been hiring like crazy. Microsoft knows they can't screw this one up so they are putting all the time and resources they possibly can into it.
People in here complaining Microsoft has no games and their games are bad, etc, etc. The dev not wanting to show the game yet does not mean it's bad. Maybe they have things they're working on that they don't want others to copy before they get to introduce the things. That's why Nintendo doesn't like to show until the games are ready within a certain window.

Id say that's pretty generous considering they've no obligation to do so. What this all essentially means is that we're heading toward a more streamlined console future. We may still have Xboxs and PlayStation branded consoles, but all the software may be playable on them all.
