This thing is going to turn out either surprisingly good or horribly bad. It looks surprisingly good and I love the location, but I don't think Ive ever played a good game by Dambuster. Had hopes for Homefront but it just fell flat. Hoping this had enough time in development to be good.
Xbox gave us a full roadmap of the next several years. PlayStation told us about 2 marvel games, Psvr, and and showed some God of war. Then they announced they were working on a bunch of GaaS games, announced a new PlayStation Movie studio, a remake of a remastered game, and now a new PlayStation mobile division. If this were any other company doing that, trolls and playstation only owning fans would be laughing and saying how Sony is the only ones that care about games. I'm just holding ...
Totally clueless obviously. FPS were popular back on n64, ever heard of a game called Goldeneye? Yeah, my friends and i used to play that for days in end during our drinking binges in the 90s. What about Doom and Wolfenstein, which where the Only reasons anyone cared about pc gaming. Ive been gaming faithfully since 1985 there chumplestiltskin, so GTFO with that BS. You don't know me and you damn sure don't know gaming history with those ignorant remarks!
Portable ...
That's a pic of my setup with an xbox series x and a switch in there too. Yeah i added that around ps5 launch cuz trolls like you were always saying i didn't own one so i couldn't speak on it. Then i added my gamer tags as well so people could just refer to my gaming stats before they could just troll. But they still do because facts don't matter to trolls. You even tried coming at me about my psn profile but you looked up the wrong name it's not my handle on here, my psn ...
I was referring to them doing it because it's niche. I didn't say that. And where are the big games after God of War and the 2 announced but not shown Marvel games? I'm sure that those will be great, but what else is there? They haven't shown us squat and that's what I'm talking about. So they're ready to show off a bunch of niche PSVR Games but not the big exclusive games that people buy PlayStation for, cuz they certainly aren't buying it for psvr. Yeah there...
It seems that nobody remembers the Sony Experia Play phone that was essentially a PSP built into a phone. It was the only good gaming phone ive ever used because it had the slide out gamepad. Came pre loaded with some PSP games and was awesome for emulators! Sony was ahead of the time with the mobile stuff, but it never caught on back then and has since devolved to all these touch-based games and auto-runners and the like.
Sony had the right idea though. Mobile games dont ...
The vita was so much better than people gave it credit for. The only issue I ever had was the insane price of the memory cards for it. Still have mine tucked away in storage.
Sifu Vengeance Edition is the same price as the vanilla version! A definite must play if you enjoy kung fu. That game is a blast to play even if it is a little short. One of the few games this gen I wanted to jump right back into after completion.
Thats my whole point. Couldnt those resources be better used on more games that dont require VR? Fact is, vr is a very niche segment of the Playstation base.
I said none of that. All I said was that I hope they figure out away for more of the population to be able to partake. But yea, 4% of the player base is very niche and a waste of resources.
A concussion history not a current concussion. I can play games all day no issues. As soon as I tried psvr I immediately got sick. Its a known issue with all VR not just PSVR.
https://www.livescience.com...
But will they make it more accessible to user with issues? That's what im hoping for because I personally can't use it due to concussion history. It made me feel super sick. Id love to experience it but just physically cant.
It's not unreasonable to suggest that this will cost $500 so you telling me that that's trolling is actually trolling. You factor in the cost of VR plus a game or two and there's your $500 so it's not out of the realm.
And yeah there are lots of people who couldn't play psvr because it gave them headaches or made them sick. I never said half the users had eye issues. BUT That's fact look it up. I know this from personal experience because it made me ...
Hopefully they can put it in some story DLC. Such a weird narrative this generation around good games. It's almost like a certain segment of gamers just control the narrative on everything that comes out. so many good games seem to be so divisive these days and I just don't understand where all the hate comes from.
Hope they announce a way for players with eye issues/concussions to be able to enjoy. It feels like wasted resources to focus so much on VR when half the fanbase cant or wont use it. Plus, how many PS5 owners really going to put up another 500 for a few experiences?
@garry
Are you for real guy? Obviously i am referring to the next year and beyond. Are you privy to Exclusive games that no one else is? Cuz after God of War (part what 7,8,9) what else is there? Xbox seems to have a roadmap laid out for the next several years and it seems like Sony is relying on Final Fantasy and the promise of the Marvel games. Ihope those come out soon but I'm willing to bet they wont be til 24/25. What does PS have until then? Final Fantasy is about...
Mario Run and Mario Kart were both very meh. I didnt enjoy either at all and gave them plenty of play. The production values were good, but the gameplay was just not very good. My kids wouldn't even touch them after trying them out and Mario games get a ton of play in my house. These just didnt provide a fun experience.
Thats what Im talking about! Show us the damn games already! We know about what, Wolverine and Spidey 2? Yeah Im looking forward to those but there has to be a ton of stuff theyre saving for next E3 or something cuz it has been way too quiet. They have to be working on something big.
Have you played the Nintendo mobile games? Not ideal and kind of tarnished their legacy with them (at least the Mario ones)
Yes, the TV is essential to the game experience. So why not include the app with a TV and eliminate the need for the console altogether? Thats a pretty savvy move from a business standpoint. I personally want the box because I prefer having my games local and not streaming from the cloud. I will always want the box. But there are millions of potential customers out there who dont care about buying and hooking up a console to their TV. Not to mention shortages and rising costs for said box. An...
