How can you honestly sit there and say they messed this game up when you have not played it?! They did not mess this up and served true fans up a very nice reboot. It seems that the ones complaining the most didnt like Saints Row 1 and 2 and only played the 3rd and 4th games and are upset this isnt more of that. For true Saints Row fans who preferred the first 2 games, this thing is amazing! Haters be dammed.
I used Microsoft Rewards money to get it for under $10. So I got it for super cheap. Even if I had spent full price on it I would be happy with the game. I could have easily used that money for other games I am looking forward to. But as a SR fan, I was happy they were going back to their roots a little more. This game is more like SR 1 and 2 with gameplay elements from 3 and 4 as well as Agents of Mayhem. It literally plays almost the same as 3, with a little more weight to the controls. I g...
Yeah, I don't get the hate with this game. I love it. Great campaign, and even though the MP is a little light on content, what's there is pretty great and I keep coming back to it almost a year later. I do wish there were some more maps, but I have fun everytime I play. It looks great, plays awesome, its Halo through and through. An easy 9/10 game for me. I do wish it would have had more time in the cooker so they could have implemented this content, but hopefully it can be added to ...
Cool, thanks for outing yourself so we know whose opinions not to trust.
You played it? Or just going "through the eyes of the reviewers" as another user on here said? Not nearly as bad as some are making it out to be. I hear there are some bugs on PS5 and PC versions, but on Xbox Series X I have experienced almost none. Just small glitches here and there that dont break the game at all and are very common in most games these days. Hell, Ive experienced dozens of bugs in Horizon Forbidden West on PS5 that have forced me to restart and lose progress, yet ...
Lol, that's very subjective. I think it's way better than both of those. And SR3 may have a better story but SR remake looks and plays way better.
@chubby blade
"very very few games require you to play it before judging it.
This game is bad. All the reviews say it’s bad and so do user reviews. It’s not worth the price of admission."
Wow lol. This is where we're at in today's world. People don't even play the games they just rely on ignorant group think and make decisions based on what others decide 🤣🙈 what a sorry pitiful way to live. You just lost all...
Look at most of the comments. Some are even admitting they're judging it without even paying it at all. Others played maybe an hour and called it. Im honestly wondering what they hell they actually played. I've been a huge SR fan since part 1. I am thoroughly enjoying the game. If you don't like the main character, just open the sharing app and import someone else's boss. There are thousands of crazy creations people have come up with.. i was running around as Walter White kil...

Did no one else find the gameplay basic and boring? I thought it was very... Meh. Too simplistic and just very ho hum. I just couldn't bring myself to finish the game it was so boring. I don't care how good a games story is if the gameplay is so boring. Not worth paying just to hear the characters banter IMO. Maybe i need to get further? Does it get better? I played like 5 it 6 hours so about half way, just couldn't feel the fun factor. Very paint by numbers gameplay.
What DRM issues?
Im not sure if they'll use it like Capcom did with Kinect in Dead Rising 3, but in that you could use it to lure zombies to a certain area or just together for higher combos, etc. Was actually pretty useful in some instances. I had fun just taunting the shit out of zombies and setting them up for slaughter. The motion controls where kinda cool too, they completely replaced the quick time event button presses that are far too common in games. Mashing buttons and wiggling sticks is somethin...
Awesome! I always thought it was stupid for SE to have all that IP just wasting away. They did Tomb Raider justice but thats about it.
Yeah it's cool they remade them, but Im hoping they can move forward with something entirely new. Some open world alien invasion mayhem sounds good.
Did the get the Gex IP?! I'd like a new game in that long lost series. A new Legacy of Kain proper would be nice too... Not just some remaster but a whole new game.
Really hope they speed up the gameplay and fix the control and physics issues from last year. I'm done buying these day one though, Ill wait till it's on EA Play or on sale super cheap. I got burned last year, sure it looked better but it was damn near exactly the same as 21. I thought it would be different being on the new engine, but nope not at all.
Yep. And yet MS caught the most flak and they essentially lost a whole console generation because of it, along with a few other things that have since become normal in everyday society. Always online, its listening, TV TV TV, GAaS games. Whoda thunk that Sony would be the one to adopt all of that, and even go as far as making a dedicated PlayStation movie/tv studio? 🤷🤦I think the gaming world owes Microsoft a huge apology, they were way ahead of time back then. Hell, even putt...
Dead Rising 3 on Xbox One launch used the Kinect in a similar way. I didnt care about the motion controls, but the way that was integrated was kinda cool.
Not in the least. Who knows anymore with them. Time for some new blood in the PS office
