I don't see why some development team wouldn't approach Disney about using Hit and Run as a template for creating a new open world Simpsons game. With today's technology it shouldn't be too hard to make that kind of game. Like, let Volition use the Saints Row engine and make it Simpsons. It'd sell good almost guaranteed.

I enjoyed much of the side content in Valhalla. What are you talking about specifically that is subpar? The only thing I didn't really care about were the tattoo pages but I would still collect some because I liked the parkour challenges they presented. I don't get people who complain about more things Ina game. Those things are optional and you can turn off the markers for the things you don't want to see or pursue. Some people enjoy those things. There's a lot of side content but it's not all meaningless crap, much of it is actually pretty good. And a million?! Lol a few hundred things to much for you?
They've all been good and they stopped the yearly releases already. You one of those people that doesn't even play the games, just complains there's a new one everytime one is released? True fans have loved them all.

This is what I have been saying for years about Gamepass. Even if everyone doesn't subscribe, there are games that will find new life because subscribers checked them out and then spread the word. I have sold people on several titles that I only played because of GP that they went and purchased. And when I really like a game on GP I tend to buy a copy before it leaves to get the discount. Win win. The sub models are better for sales than people could imagine
Is this a joke? Maybe some games, like those that try to be too realistic. Those are kinda boring to me. I mean, as dislikeable as he is, he did bring Activision back from the brink of extinction and brought massive success for tons of franchises that were pretty much dead. Maybe he will get a huge payout, but who cares?! How does that affect anybody? The new PS Plus tiers are pretty great, even moreso for new PS5 owners. Most early adopters already own all of the games that make the sub worth the price. Gamepass is significantly better in this regard once the new games come out. Its not just 1st party, there are a TON of games that come out Day 1 that re not 1st party! Hell, even Sony's OWN MLB The Show has come to GP DAY 1 the last 2 years, yet is not even on the PS Plus roster at all. Its really no comparison in that regard.

It should be something that's only available through the PS Plus subscription. Then people wouldn't complain as much. I doubt anyone would say squat if they just put it on the sub and offered it for sale.

So basically Remake was a double entendre. It's a remake of the game FF7 but it's also like a multiverse where someone within the game is "remaking" the story of the game within the game itself. They're making this into some kind of Kingdom Hearts-like convoluted story and it's kind of obnoxious.

I'm excited too, but I'm also tired of being let down when we get a few months from release and then a game gets delayed by another 6 to 12 months. And this particular instance seems like a lot of big releases in a short period of time and Im not sure that makes sense for them so.Im just tampering my expectations. Hopefully everything goes smooth and they all release right on time, that would be awesome
2023 looks stacked all around! All these delays from COVID are going to cause a deluge of stuff coming out close together as development gets back on track for everyone.
There's no way they all release that closr together. At least one of them is getting bumped. Regardless, I just hope that 16 is a full game and not some kind of threequel.

I didn't really experience that with either of those because I played on the setting where icons aren't shown on the map. You just discover things as you go and I thought it felt natural. I didn't experience any forced side content due to the "level gating" you're speaking of. I just played and did missions as they were presented.
