Nah this is not the case. Series S sure, but Series X has been harder to get than PS5 in many places. I guess it all depends on location.
I got my PS5 at launch no issue and have had no problem getting them for a few friends as well. Series X has been the unicorn on the east coast USA. I was even able to get PS5 direct from Sony a few hours ago, it's been in stock all day. I had it in my cart for hours, was going to buy one for my 10 yr old but decided against it.
My god the fanboy trolls are out hard. Fact is this bodes well for the industry as a whole. I prefer my PS5 lately, but the fact the Xbox is thriving when fanboys argue that Xbox has no games just shows how out of touch they are.
If you don't have one and aren't part of the ecosystem, then how do you know? Just shut up and play what you enjoy. Xbox has plenty of stuff to keep the players happy and their future is looking mighty bright!
Like I sa...
Well Bayo 2 looked and ran incredible on Switch and even on Wii U, so I don't think the GB matters. All these crazy GB sizes on X/PS5 seem crazy when you see how much they can get out of the Switch with such little memory.
That Psy Ops game was crazy good!!! Felt so freaking next gen at the time. The physics were nuts, that was the first game to really do that stuff right!
So all those who said they would be including all the new moves and animations from part 2 are where now?! It looks the same just graphically superior. I can't see someone paying $70 something they paid $60 for 2x already. They should really put it on PS Plus Extra.
Yeah but when the hell is the last time anybody played any of them? I haven't played them in years, probably decades now. It'll be interesting to see if they hold up now that there is something newer and similar to compare them to. Alot of people will buy it for the nostalgia, that's why I'm getting it.
Which is actually good because games drop when they sell well so more people will buy and increase the sales numbers, thus keeping it on any potential charts and keeping it in the minds of gamers. Don't you realize how marketing works? Look at any recent Assassin's Creed games. They all sold millions of copies but dropped in price by $20 to $30 within a couple of months. Pretty much every game goes on sale for BF, so I don't know how that's a dig on the game lol
Like what exactly?! Please enlighten as to what's coming in August that's so much more worthy than a total reboot to one of millions of gamer's favorite franchises?! Saints Row has a huge following as an alternative to GTA and I hope it sells great. It'll probably never do GTA numbers but it deserves the attention.
Why do you care how people are spending their money so much?! People are going to shell out $70 for a remake of a recently remastered game and you are complaining about them buying a total reboot of a franchise that many people adore?
Well I'll be buying it day 1 because I just cashed out $60 in MS Store credit from Microsoft rewards for various Bing searches and Gamepass quests over the last several months. That's a win for me, I won't argue with a free day 1 release!
I'm sure I'll love it though, this is a pretty glowing preview and sounds like exactly what I was hoping for. A happy medium between 2 and 3 with a few new things thrown in. Saints 4 was a SR game in name only, it felt...
Thats sweet it has so many of the games and includes the arcade version of TiT (😝😂)
But I'm wondering how these will hold to Shredders Revenge because that seemed to do everything so much better.
You think so, really? I think it looks like more SR but next gen. I wasn't a huge fan of 4, so it can't be worse than that. It was fun but didn't feel much like SR. More like crackdown. People seem to be upset about the characters and worried about it being woke or whatever. I personally don't care about the politics just give me good gameplay and a fun time and I'm happy. How bad can the mess it up really?! I think it'll be fine. I'm betting it gets 8s and 9s most...
SR took the crown with SR1 in my opinion. It's just much more enjoyable to play. I still like GTA, but the focus on realism gets in the way of fun. SR doesn't take itself so serious and just gives you this big world to cause ruckus in. The gameplay is just so much tighter and not floaty like GTA. GTA has a better story, but I'm happy that both exist. Can't wait to check out the reboot!
How lucky are PC owners, getting to play one of the best games ever made in it's best possible form?! I'm so ready for Spider Man 2, I just played thru Miles again and now gonna dive into the PS5 version of SM just because. All the games I haven't beat yet and I'm over here getting my Spidey fix 😂🤷It's just that freaking good
I don't know, there may be some merit to this case. I have been having crashing and freezing since launch. I always fully save whenever I can so it hasn't caused major issues for me. But it seems every few weeks I have at least one major crash where the game just stops and the console restarts, saying that I didn't turn off my console properly and it needs to repair the SSD. Sometimes it happens when I put it into save mode and occasionally happens right in the middle of a game. ...
@crimson
Not an "indie" game fan?! I think you're confused about what Indie means. It means independent. At one point most of the studios were independent. Insomniac, Naughty Dog, Rare, Bungie, Infinity Ward, etc etc etc.
Indie isn't just these retro style games that I think you're talking about and it's a shame that any game by an Indie dev gets put under that assumed banner. If we don't support independent developers we...
Everyone is talking bout GP being better cuz day 1 games, but that hasn't paid dividends yet. Sure Halo and Forza day 1 are great and once the flood of Xbox exclusive games comes it'll be hard for Sony to keep pace.
But right now I think PS Plus Extra and Premium have already surpassed Gamepass and I love Gamepass so this is not a dig at all. But PS5 has a much better 1st party lineup and there are tons of 1st party gems on Plus already that makes it a better deal ...
No but it looks like something new and original, which is better than same old AAA crap lately. Call of Duty is AAA. I'd rather play 100 of these smaller budget original games than another CoD. AAA only refers to a games budget. Bigger budget does not always equal better game.
It absolutely does. Although they are able to get some pretty impressive results from a lot of stuff. Mario Odyssey for example looks stunning and runs perfect. But I cannot help but wonder how much better games like BotW, Bayonetta 2, Xenoblade etc would run on PS5/Series X
I don't think it would surprise anyone, but does Sony really want to get into this kinda pissing contest with MS? Not sure that in they're best interest.
