Playstation 4.5, really? It would be beyond ridiculous to upgrade the GPU in a few years time just to cater for 4K TV's. It will probably be another decade before 4K TVs become commonplace due to the cost and almost total lack of content.
Barnstorming PS4 console sales in 2014 in what will likely be the weakest year for PS4 exclusives. The amount of exclusives coming in 2015 and beyond is just amazing. More to be announced at the Tokyo Game Show as well.

Possibly, but only for AAA exclusives. However, PS4 has more games released and more games in development, especially AAA exclusives. So 2015 onwards will be huge for PS4 exclusives.

Disappointing Sony showing. So no more AAA games for release later this year? All these supposed AAA exclusives in development? You wouldn't know it. Is Planetside 2 even coming out this year? As usual, Sony are mostly keeping their customers in the dark. As a PS4 owner, that is disappointing.
I think Microsoft will do anything it takes to get it to Xbox One. This game could be the new Minecraft, ie a phenomenon.

It costs money to make games for individual platforms. Why make a game also for Xbox One if the developer will sell two to three times the number of games on PS4. The developer could use the saved resources on other games. And the way it is trending, PS4 will soon double the install base of Xbox One.
Later this year there is Drive Club, Planetside 2, Little Big Planet 3 and maybe Until Dawn as well. Along with the best version of the multi platform games. Destiny should also have a big impact.
Xbox launching in the 20 plus countries will have minimal impact, maybe 5 - 10% bump in sales at most. They have already launched in the biggest territories. I think PS4 will dominate the Oct - Dec period this year, like they have all year. But once Sony roll out the big AAA exclus...
If PS4 continues to have a much bigger install base percentage wise then that is worrying for Microsoft. Problem is, I can't see how Xbox One is going to claw back market share. PS4 is outselling Xbox One everywhere, in some territories like Europe it is massively ahead. Sony also has more first party studios so more first party games and potentially more third party games. This could be like PS2 domination all over again.
I think most gamers only have one console, it is expensive enough with just one.
Yes, but plenty of people have or will switch from Xbox 360 to PS4. That's what I did. I wasn't happy with the last 2-3 years of Xbox 360 (eg Kinect focus) and the Xbox One announcement drove me to PS4.
PS4 will easily win this gen if they don't make any major errors. PS3 comeback was due to the strong Playstation brand, the Xbox brand is weaker. A lot of disillusioned Xbox 360 owners have moved over to PS4.

Releasing in the remaining territories will give Xbox One a 5 to 10% bump in sales at best. Xbox One has already released in the major markets.
"The numbers will tighten up when 360 gamers upgrade to the X1", LOL. You realise that a lot of Xbox 360 gamers moved to PS4? Including me, I just couldn't't go to X1 after the drop off in Xbox 360 exclusives and the dismal reception given to the X1 announcement.
