I went with Xbox 360 as it generally had the edge for multi platform game graphics. Same for PS4.
Presumably 2015, like most other games.
I'm expecting 15-17 million PS4s sold by years end.
Was supposed to be launched in the PS4 'launch window'.

Sony have said it is 1080P and a 'smooth' frame rate which is presumably 30fps.

Good thinking, how awesome would that be. This game has so much potential and Turtle Rock are coding gurus, Left 4 Dead was just awesome for its time. Yep, day one purchase for me too.
Actually Naughty Dog have said that it was very difficult as the game was optimised for PS3.

PS4 has also been designed to take advantage of compute, put CPU tasks (eg physics) on the GPU.
I think Xbox One has a reasonable chance of leading in the U.S and UK, the rest of the world no chance. I think Halo is the wildcard, it is widely known and the Halo collection will sell big numbers later this year. I think they will also have the Halo collection in a bundle, that will move quite a few consoles.
I think E3 will be pretty much a draw with MS and Sony both having great conferences. But this would be great for Sony as I think MS need to win it to gain momentum. ...
I think both Sony and Microsoft will have strong E3's with quite a few surprises. Although I am now in the Sony camp the more exclusives on both sides provides healthy competition. I think Microsoft is pretty strong in the exclusives department now. Can't wait for E3.
Titanfall and the upcoming Evolve have shown an innovative take on the shooter genre. Be nice if they show something fresh. Think it will be a FPS though.

No, Cell was a real problem and made development unnecessarily complicated. PS4 has been specifically designed to use compute, that is, add CPU tasks to the GPU (eg physics or AI). Therefore, there should be quite a dramatic improvement in graphics once developers master this.
At least it won't be rushed like Killzone Shadowfall presumably was for launch.
Appears that all console versions are 30FPS.

No way, I think PS4 will have a life of at least 8 years. PS4 graphics will improve a lot over the next few years, especially using compute. How much do you want to pay for a cutting edge GPU? An extra $150 per console? Consoles are built to a price point, it's a business decision. I hate comparisons with PC, absolutely pointless. I reckon most PS4 games will be 1080P/60fps in a few years anyway.
PS4 is also designed to use compute, that is, offload some of the work from CPU to GPU. More work for the developer but potentially better results.
Why do people assume that everyone has PC's powerful enough to smoothly run a game like this?
I think the days of a very successful console having mainly first party games are over. How many gamers are going to give up the likes of big third party games like Battlefield, Destiny, Evolve etc? I see the WiiU being more of a niche product that will limp along until it is discontinued in 2017.
I'm really looking forward to this. However, I'm starting to think this game and Drive Club will launch late this year along with The Order 1886. It's disappointing that we don't hear this sort of info from Sony though. They are not giving out enough info on upcoming exclusives.
