Of course there has to be that one person who disagrees with everyone else. Actually it took quite a while this time.
On the contrary, game developers have been shafting PC gamers by abusing the "no refunds given for digital content" ideology for a long time now with their unoptimized pieces of messes, and now they'll have to think twice before releasing an uncomplete game with half-#ssed optimization. If you have the capable hardware and the game runs like sh#t, now you can demand your money back rather than kissing your hard earned money goodbye and see if they'll release a patch to adres...
Two hours is actually a good amount of time to grasp the idea of the game. Besides, games like Call of Duty (SP section) can be beat in 6 hours, so I don't see them letting you play almost half of the game before you decide if you want to keep it or not. People would abuse the hell out of that system.

That's one huge disappointment for me, but Microsoft has nothing to do with it.
I'm not going to watch a no-name gaming channel on YouTube, like, never ever again. Nor will I read any news based on the info coming from a YT channel. Nor will I take anything they say seriously from now on.
You sirs have earned yourself your 24 hour fame, so congratulations. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go drop some F bombs in my room to cool down.
The game's as old as the friggin' Mayan ruins though, not sure if it's worth all the effort put into the retexturing.
Dear Microsoft,
Bring this game from the land of the dead and you'll have my dearest gratitute throughout the whole generation.
I promise you, the North will remember.
Thanks,
A fellow Silent Hill fan.
Please be real. Pretty please. I don't care for what platform the game will be out, I just want it to exist.
Something is obviously better than nothing.
Yep, teasing the teaser. That's the new norm here.
It actually does, Shadow. Imagine that every racer is an actual player, what would happen after a couple of months, after people move on to another game? The gameplay wouldn't be the same and it wouldn't be as much fun.
Always online = no buy for me. I'll skip this one just like I skipped The Crew, then.
Thanks, EA. Our hopes for a game that bears the same mechanics as the classic Underground games have suddenly flown away.
I wish people could stop calling color grading presets "mods". They don't really alter the graphics but change the colors instead, which is something you can simply do by yourself on your TV's settings. That doesn't necessarily make you a modder.
That being said, I've never been a huge fan of changing the shading/contrast that is originally envisioned and adjusted by the product's rightful creator. That kinda spoils the original vision for me, s...
Gotta admit, that's one awesome cover art and I rarely say that for a cover.
As a SP only gamer and a fan of Quantic Dream's games, Until Dawn is just my type of game anyway. Purchase guaranteed for me.
I'll just leave it there:
Trailer representative of in-game visuals my #ss. Prepare yourself for a big let down if you actually fall for this.
I know it's not the full trailer and it's quite short, but from what I can gather in three seconds, it seems to me that the game will not be able to make the visual innovation its predecessor had achieved.
DOOM 3 was the industry leading game in terms of visuals along with Half-Life 2 when it came out. The words that came out of my mouth when I saw the first visual related to DOOM 3, which was a still picture of a Pinky Demon in a dark hallway, were "I've nev...
I don't actually know why people disagreed with you but you're right- that's a quite questionable way of trying to make some money out of it but eventually KONAMI is to be blamed here, not the opportunists. But then again that's the free market for you and anyone can sell anything and there will be buyers for every single thing so what do we know, with a little bit of luck they may make some money.
Oh f*ck yeah! I've been waiting for this.
And now it looks like a PS3 game once again. Good job Ubisoft, good job especially after the Assassin's Creed: Unity with state of the art graphics. Clearly your idea of "optimization" is solely based around downgrading the visuals. Well played, dear sirs.
*sighs*
That was a reply to your first comment in which you assumed that I've never played a game at 4K. I have been doing that for a while. And you're wrong, GTA V for example, runs good (at 30 fps) with ultra settings on a GTX 980, even better if you overclock it.
Again, don't make assumptions.
They might as well change their company name to NOBUYI because that's what our relationship with them will be like from now on.
