Six players? Then this can't be a single player co-op.
Think about it, at no point in the campaign would the path of six different protagonists cross. I'd understand if it was two or three players at max but no, you literally can not play the single player with six people. How many zombies would there be in a single screen to be slayed by six individual players? How about cutscenes, would all of the players appear in cutscenes as well?
I'm betti...
No offense, but Raiden behind the wheel looks kind of silly.
Snake could ride a pink school bus full of kindergarten students and still look so damn cool at the same time. That's why I'll prefer to stick with him on this one.
I never understood what's so funny about the arrow to the knee joke.
Some guards in Skyrim keep repeating that line, yeah we get it, so what? Not like it's the only line that's being repeated by NPCs throughout the game...
There are much, much more funnier things in Skyrim than a stupidly repeated line. Hell, even what some drunken people in the inns say while you fistfight them is funnier than this arrow to the knee nonsense.
I take it you're joking... right?
Skyrim nexus is your friend. If you have a good gaming rig there's literally NO end to the improvements you can make on the graphics. The game takes about 4-5GBs of HDD space on PC, but my game folder is 11GBs now as I've probably downloaded more than 40 mods and applied them to the game.
Textures that are 4 times higher-res? Check.
Alternate shaders? Check.
SSAO? Check.
FXAA? Check.
Even if you can use a controller with it, it just doesn't sound so wise to play a game on a tablet to me.
Let's assume that you can connect a wireless controller to the device. When it is the case, the tablet itself will only be used as a monitor. Think about it, you'll be playing a game on a monitor that is horrendously small and low-res. Why would you do that? I'd probably just grab my PS3/Xbox360 controller instead and play the game on my gorgeous Full HD ...
It's not the gore that makes a game mature-oriented.
Mature games make you think about something spesific that you may normally overlook just like any other medium (theatre, movies, books etc). Let it be a question about life and death, or something which makes you question the way you live, or something that sensitizes you to the illusions surrounding us. They're thought-provoking games which allow our minds to wander within fiction and reality, thus expanding our im...
Holy greatness! Never had the change to play the game as it was released exclusively for the original Xbox. I'm a big, big fan of Oddworld games. They're not only great games with a great setting and a witty storyline but they have what modern games lack today: the heart! I'm telling you these games have souls, they will make you smile, fill your heart with sweetness and leave you a happy man after you beat them.
One of my all time favorites for sure. You're t...
I agree with most of what he says.
Let's try something shall we? Run any Assassin's Creed game, and let the enemies surround you. Let there be five or six enemies trying to attack you. Now press mouse button 2 repeatedly (or the controller equivalent) to counter-attack. Keep pressing the button, don't do anything else. Ezio will kill all of the enemies surrounding you in a cinematic fashion without a sweat. What a glorious victory. :)
I still wish that MGS1 would be included in the MGS HD package. I'm aware that the game is still on sale in the PS Classics section of PSN but well, the package feels incomplete without it nevertheless.
What if MGS: Twin Snakes was included in the package? I mean, how great would that be? I've been dying to play Twin Snakes but could never find a chance to do so. First of all, the game is overpriced as sh#t on the used market. Seriously, you can buy a handheld gaming ...
I don't know if I'm being generous but the game looks like a "5-6 out of 10" to me.
Obviously it has some flaws that should have been improved before the release, but 2/10 so harsh that it almost sounds humiliating. Those kind of very low ratings should be saved for games that don't work properly like, say, the game crashes every ten minutes, visuals glitch up so bad that you can not play the game or controls are so irresponsive that characters respond ...
I haven't played Amy yet so I can not precisely say which one looks better. But judging from the screenshots, it sure looks like the game has great visuals for a low budget game.
That Modern Warfare uses the anchient DX9 architecture on PC is "inexcusably" lazy programming. The engine is not that different from Modern Warfare 1, in fact it's only a slightly modified version of it. When it comes to the visuals of MW3 I tend to bash it hard only for that reas...
What the hell? 2 out of 10 means it's almost UNPLAYABLE and I really doubt the game is that bad. I mean, it's an arcade title, how good would you expect it to be?
This is too harsh in my book. Modern Warfare sells like butter even though they just recycle the same thing over and over every year, no one complains there, and an arcade title that probably looks BETTER than MW3 gets a horrible 2/10.
Something somewhere is really f'd up.
Those PS3 owners must indeed be desperate if they want some of the games on the list.
Me wanting Kinectimals? Not possible on this universe, or any other universe that we may or may not know of. Personally I don't like fruit chopping, #ss shaking and animal rubbing games. Nope, thank you kind sir but I won't take it.
Alan Wake is the only game that PS3 owners SHOULD desperately want as it is a phenomenal game. And ironically, it's coming to PC ver...
ENB series drops down the performance a bit (about 5FPS) but it's worth it. If you try the mod, it's very difficult to go back to the vanilla settings as the graphics seem so dull after ENB.
Boris's original ENB comes with Ambient Occlussion deactivated by default. Download this tweaked version and disable SSAO, and you're good to go.
Oh fans, why u makin emo Dante cry :'(
Jokes aside, that actually happens. If I recall correctly I read an artice about Hideo Kojima in which the guy himsel admitted that he received lots of death threats from fans over MGS2 and as we know, the result is the most epic entry in the series known to mankind as Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater. You see, fear can be a decent incentive sometimes :)
No, I'm kidding. This is just a video game folks, I hope you...
Then I don't really want to know what would happen if a studio wanted to remake God of War in a different fashion.
Fans would probably go crazy like: "If you don't drop the project, I'm gonna rip your bloody head of and use it as a lantern" :)
I'm not necessarily directing my comment to the author or this spesific article, either.
What I wanted to focus on with my comment is the basic question of "how do you define realism in video games?".
According to me, it's not a newly developed motion capture technology nor improved visuals that could make a game more realistic but rather its "context". In other words, usually it's not what the game offers to you in terms of vi...
The author probably hasn't played a single game since GTA IV and his knowledge is only limited to the GTA series.
Have you ever heard a little game called Battlefield 3? It's a horrifyngly realistic war simulator with a probable scenario that MAY actually happen one day and it contains the best visuals on the planet right now while GTA series have some humor in it and always keep it fictional to a degree. GTA is not realistic, that the game is one of the first 3D open...
Your guess is wrong then, personally I would take PS3 over 360 any day. I don't play HALO, suck at driving simulators and I think Alan Wake was the best game I played on 360. I play every multiplatform game on PC and l'm in love with Ps3 exclusives like Killzone, Uncharted and Heavy Rain. Oh, that Heavenly Sword was a great game as well. Satisfied now?

I love Spawn. It's a shame that he is very underrated.
Whoever disagreed with you can just go and finish his/her Twilight book.
