"For example Assassin's Creed Liberation is a much better game than Bloodlines or any of the DS games."
Better than "any" DS game? That's a bold statement right there, mate.
Have you ever played any of the Ace Attorney or Professor Layton games, or Hotel Dusk games? How about Castlevania games? The World Ends With You, Chrono Trigger, Scribblenauts, GTA Chinatown Wars, Okamiden? Nope?
And why would I be hyped about...
How can you go wrong with a COD game, I mean it's friggin COD! It's supposed to sell the handheld like cupcakes. If your COD game, which is one of the biggest titles in the gaming industry right now, is not even a "mediocre" one, people will be greatly discouraged about getting a Vita. I wish they would have just skipped this title, and release Killzone Mercenary sooner instead.
This just ruins the brand value of Vita for me, which I believe is a gorgeous pi...
Pasty,
No, it's not all we care about. But I'd rather play the next GTA game on a next-gen console with mind-blowing graphics. Graphics are improved, sure. But who wouldn't want to play this game with Watch Dogs graphics?
The next GTA after this will probably be like at least five-six years ahead, and that's a long wait. I'd rather wait one or two more years and see a truly next-gen GTA game, that's all.
No FanS Land, ...
While the overall quality and gameplay looks stunning, the graphics are just meh... due to console version, obviously.
It has jaggies everywhere, no proper AA, view distance is poor, textures are blurry. I won't be surprised if runs at sub-hd, like RDR on consoles. Animations are very well done though. I'll be waiting for the PC version.
And please download the 720p direct-feed trailer from Rockstar's website to your computer and watch it before ...
Ordinary CDs were perfectly fine, and obviously not dangerous to anyone unless you have the IQ of a ham sandwich.
There has to be another reason to this, and the only reason I think we'll all guess is that these CDs must be more "difficult" to replicate. That's all.
That'd be great.
What Crytek's updated CryEngine 3 is capable of is yet to be seen in their next release "Crysis 3", but as of right now, Frostbite 2 is my favorite game engine. It did wonders in BF3, made a gorgeous looking racing game with NFS The Run, and even Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a great looking game in terms of graphics on PC.
Frostbite 2 turns everything into a shining gorgeousness if you have the right configuration.
You can install any Windows version to your MAC though. MAC, being the platform, supports Windows installations through Bootcamp, that way you can get your DX9-10-11-11.1 games running on your MAC as well.
MAC OS X, being the operating system however, will never get DX support, as it's owned by Microsoft's software department.
Lets see...
Ezio is the sympathetic one. He was the character I felt closest to, and I cared about his story the most. Maybe because we played both his young and old ages, we saw him growing up, getting the title "il mentore", dying a legend. On the other hand, Altair is like a prophet to the Assassins guild. His story in AC Revelations was so touching that it made me care about him even though I found him quite arrogant in the first AC game but well, with old age c...
On the other hand, I love story-driven games and I love the direction of GTA games towards a more mature and serious tone. I don't want the game to be "the same old" with every new entry. As a mature gamer I'm not sure if I'd like to play as a "rapper gangster in the hood" or something just like it was in San Andreas. It might have been fun but as you grow older you tend to expect more than a fun experience from what you play. Therefore I liked Niko's stor...
RDR is one of the best games I've played this generation and no, I don't particularly like open-world games.
This game is crafted with so subtle touches and the storytelling is so humble that I friggin love it. Calmly unfolding story, serene cutscenes, gorgeous scenery... It doesn't rush anything, it has a long, great introduction, and a lenghty, conclusive and gorgeously played finale, with a well thought epilogue. When the game ends, it fills you with a strong f...
Jeez, people. Save your money for Ground Zeroes. :)
I love the Kane&Lynch vibe in this artwork.
Waiting exciteldy for a summary article of the newly revealed details, as I'm unable to get the magazine myself.
And Playstation Vita smashes every portable device out there that can play games in GAMEPLAY, so how about that?
Graphics doesn't matter as long as you can not play the friggin game. I have an iPhone and used to have an iPad 2, I have downloaded countless games and there have never been a "single" game that I enjoyed playing. Games like Epoch, Dead Trigger, Infinity Blade 2, NOVA 3 etc. look impressive but touch screen controls are -sorry to say that but- utter...
Some of us don't have a 360, and not willing to buy a system at the end of a generation to play one game. It's not about being elitist, it's about economical reasons.
Let's think about it, if MS releases HALO 4 for Windows 8, who wins? PC users win, as they get to play an amazing game. MS win, as they expand their target market with PC users and create a strong incentive for PC users to upgrade their computers to Windows 8, selling Win 8 upgrades to people as ...
I wonder what the next level of troll reviewing is, scoring a game below zero, maybe? Like, minus infinity? Would that be the ultimate troll score? My mind really wonders...
I'm sorry to say this, and I'm sure that my comment will be raided by angry disagreers, but if you don't enjoy the story of Assassin's Creed series, which is one of the most thought out video game stories ever told with an actual philosophical foundation that challanges your mind in a way that very few medium can achieve, you really must have a very, very bad taste of entertainment in my judgement. I'd buy any AC game in a heartbeat only to see how that awesome story unfol...
To disagreers:
I want to see it as a PS4 launch title with godly graphics, never seen before animations and ultra resolution textures, not as a dated looking late console title which is rushed out with no proper story to be told. Just because MS released Halo doesn't mean that Sony should immediately squeeze the b*lls of Guerilla to release another KZ game, let them experiment with dev-kits, run their tests, do whatever it's necessary to create a mind blowing PS4 titl...
Low specs with high price, please!
Seriously though, it's always about the best price/performance when it comes to consoles. No console gamer is ever willing to pay a high price for a gaming console. If they thought it was okay to spend a high amount of money for a machine that they can play games on, they would just buy a powerful custom gaming rig and call it a day rather than waiting for a new generation of consoles to come impatiently. Companies like Sony know that, a...
Your wanting it "right now" has nothing to do with Halo 4's upcoming release, right? Yeah, didn't think so. :)
Ah, my bad izumo. Sorry for that.
You're right, Assassin's Creed games on DS are horrible, so are the ones on PSP. Liberation might not be on par with AC III in terms of story but it at least plays well enough.
