If they're going to buy a studio, it needs to be Quantic Dream. I mean come on, those guys are rocking hard. Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain, Beyond, and God knows what future hits they'll bring to the industry. They've been very capable of using the PS3 hardware at its maximum as well. You lost Ninja Theory, at least don't lose these extremely talented guys.
That'd be great if they renewed the graphics with the ME3 engine. If they did that, I'd buy it in an instance. Unfortunately I played the first game on PC and there's nothing special or different this version could offer to me. Still good for PS3-only gamers, though.
What a shame, it actually looks good. I'd buy the game just for the old-school gameplay, which allows you and your friend to grab two controllers and sit in front of your TV, to beat the hell out of bad dudes. That'd be a good party/friend night game.
If they buy Epic I guess that'll be... *puts on sunglasses* an EPIC move.
Hopefully the Seven Wonders of Crysis 3 are:
1. Eye popping graphics
2. Wider sandbox
3. Awesome soundtrack
4. Replay value
5. More nanosuit functions
6. Better AI
7. Better multiplayer
And I'll be sold.
I actually thought Crysis 2 was a better game in general than Crysis 1. The sandbox was limited this time, but everything else -especially the presentation and story- was improved dramatically.
Tip: Read that in Michael Caine's voice for the desired effect.
Some people obviously don't like AC games- what a shame, you're missing out a great story and one of the most memorable set of main characters ever existed in gaming.
I urge you to stop your nonsense Ubisoft hatred and try it out right away.
Best mobile browser among which devices, exactly? Are we including smart phones to your generalization as well? If so, that'd be Safari Mobile (iOS 6 version) as proved by benchmark tests.
On topic: all that Vita needs right now is developer support from Japan. I'm hoping that Soul Sacrifice's release might stir some things up in Japan, and devs would come up and start programming great games that'd appeal to the Japanese audience, which would eventually sell ...
Altair and Ezio will not be forgotten, simply because of the fact that Assassin's Creed games are story-driven and people tend to remember great stories.
Besides, They're not your typical "okay, these guys are historical killer dudes and you are to kill people aaand that's about it." type of bland and single dimensional/flat characters. They have great personal back stories with historical foundations and a gorgeously written main story arch which evolve...
Who said PS3 sucked though?
They're the only ones among the big three that's still supporting their current-generation gaming console with AAA exclusive titles. No gimmicks, no family-friendly additions, no non-gaming related services, no nothing: just hardcore, mature-oriented, gorgeous looking video games.
If PS3 is considered as "a console which sucks pretty bad", I don't know what horrible, horrible things can be said about the...
I hate electronic devices that need daily charging, as if we don't have lots of other things to care about everyday. This s#ht has got to go, with new devices coming out literally every week, I'm begging companies to extend the battery life of their products, and I'm willing to pay more for that. Just don't make me suffer with those annoying "low battery" notifications every friggin' single day.
Two, to be exact.
I'd take the regular controller over this though, if it's going to be a separate product that's fine, but I wouldn't want my PS4/PS3 to be packaged with one of these by default. Not everyone's interested in motion gaming.
@ Megaton,
They released Darksiders, so they are heroes to me.
Exactly, I was talking about that to my friends, and they were all like: "No way man, numerical scoring system can't go away."
But thinking about it, there are some clear inconsistencies in this type of grading. Should we just not accept that just because we don't know what we can replace it with? As an example, some reviewers talk highly of the product they review in the written article, and when you jump at the score section, you surprisingly see a relativ...
Oh come on...

Why no Vita? I mean, isn't that a more suitable platform as the game was originally intended for a handheld?
If they're going to port it to PS3/360, they're going to have to deal with a lot of texture work. On Vita though, graphics wouldn't stand out as badly as it would on a home console which is connected to a huge TV screen. I wouldn't mind that port though, I've heard that the game is quite good.
For anyone disagreeing, I'm challenging you to prove me wrong, if you have any sources indicating otherwise because I know for a fact that what I've told above is TRUE. All versions run at a very low native resolution which is quite disappointing for ANY console. What's wrong with people disagreeing with facts nowadays, for Christ's sake?
Average Framerates for BLOPS 2:
Xbox 360:
Global average FPS: 56.49
PlayStation 3...
Wait, what? Is that even true?
I thought both versions were exactly identical, running at 832x624 as far as I'm told.
Not only the game has a very disappointing native resolution for a Wii U game, it's also an anomaly of console gaming in general. I mean come on, even mid-range PCs can run the same game at 1080p without a sweat.
If we're counting arcade/indie games, then I'd say iPhone wins by a mile. I mean like, what, more than a thousand games show up at Appstore every friggin month? You just can't compete with that. If it's a capable gaming device though, is up to debate.
