LOL funny :)
They listen to $$ just like every corporation EVER. Don't think that for one second they are not all the same.
LOL.
Ya, you should try it. It's far better than it looks from the cover.
If you are doing something with your hands, like eating a snack when watching a movie, it is far far easier to say Xbox Pause, then it is to find the controller and get it all greasy with food or whatever. There's a thousand examples of why a voice command may be easier than a controller.
With MS Xbox One I can use:
Voice commands
Smart Glass (cell phone)
Controller
Dedicated Remote

It's improved significantly since the latest update. It works nearly every time for me now.
LOL, so dumb. It hurts my head. The other replies talk about the reality of business, so I'll just say, you have a lot to learn about how the world works.
it is never the devs that are scared. Devs always want bleeding edge. It is the boardroom people that want multi-platform releases to keep revenue high.
Oh ya? How exactly are they performing these hacks on a still secure console? I'm pretty sure the x1 can not run unsigned code.

A new phone outright is 400-600 dollars for a high end smart phone.
Iphone about 600.

Seriously? Rocksmith is SO much better as a guitar learning tool than RB3 it's not even funny.
Sounds reasonable
You spend the same price on a cell phone as a console.. Why on earth would a VR display be cheaper?
Just play Rocksmith. Then you can actually learn a skill (real guitar) instead of being a musical joke.
You are DREAMING.
Yup, played it last night, did not once think, geez, I wish this was full 1080p. Action is frantic, and there is a ton going on during an MP game. Gameplay is smooth and responsive, and the dedicated servers make a huge difference. I did not once see lag spikes or any other crap. That's a win for me.
.
What if.... MS planned for this all along and all the hardware support is already in place.......
It's not lazy. Time and money. They are in the business of making cash.
