Quality of guitar matters for playability. Rocksmith is far more than a game.. In 3 years I went from no guitar playing ability to playing in a real rock band recording an album this year.

Prepare to sleep deeply.

There is a reason they are doing this... The priority of old generation consoles is now very low. They are showing you it's time to upgrade.

You are really grasping at straws on this one. You don't know everything that is happening in 2015. Keep is sleazy.

This guy is right. It's a patch, so it probably almost entirely overwrites the existing file size.

Money is the ENTIRE reason ALL(almost) companies exist. To assume they are there for your pleasure is absurd.

By the description of the issue, it certainly is a CPU side issue. Task scheduling is exactly related to CPU utilization, and could help to optimize full utilization of the CPU, which is probably why the issues don't occur as much on the PC side, since the CPU is likely far more powerful than xbox or ps4.

They will enable share play once the game is no longer $60 at retail. You mark my words.

There is no way they would have put this in without an opt out. Devs don't care, publishers do (EA, UBI, Activision). They want their cash. Not the ability to play the campaign for free then go home. Shareplay is an idealistic idea, that does not conform with how publishers want to squeeze every penny out of everyone.

That is not something you can fix as an end user.

ONLY if you look at capitalism entirely. And sales do not always equal success. If you are not driving revenue with said sales, then success is not guaranteed.

So if Sony makes 1 dollar, MS 3, ms sells half as much and is a far bigger success.

Forgetting money, success can be measured at a consumer level by enjoyment of the product. If you have high satisfaction, that is a success from a consumer perspective, as they are getting value for money.

I wish they just followed through. Always online is the actual future. Hell, your fridge will be online soon. The internet of things is the next big tech change. Would have loved the game sharing. Stupid people ruin shit for everyone again.

Actually, it is NOT just a game console anymore! They don't exist today. They are home entertainment consoles, and are designed to do many many things, one of which is play games.

Law of diminishing returns applies as the resolutions get larger and larger. 720 vs 900 is a bigger gap than 900 vs 1080. Very different.

4114d ago 5 agree9 disagreeView comment

Psst, all consoles have DRM.. The backlash was as stupid as the internet.

4117d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

PPPSSSSST. Most gamers don't real N4G, and don't care about internal resolutions that games are running. While gaming media might make this a big deal, and there's 'backlash' in the comments, I hardly thing it will affect sales much. Most gamer friends I have that are not mega nerds commenting on N4G don't give a rats ass.

Go ahead and return to your pointless stupid internet fighting.

Your comments make no sense. You obviously have never worked in software design before, so you had no idea what it takes. I develop software for a living, and recognize the realities that many many stupid fanboys just don't understand and can't comprehend. Before you can publish anything, you need to design, develop, then test. That is where the money is spent. You will spend more on QA on PC, even as an indie developer. Also a lot more $$ on support after the fact and tracking diff...
