I have it, an absolutely amazing experience. It did make my girlfriend feel pretty ill though when she played it, but she does get car sic as well so just something to keep in mind.

completely stupid article and comparison. How about this, I am a mp all day gamer and a huge fighting game fan. For Honor is catered exactly to my tastes. On the other hand, Nioh could be the best single player game this year, but since I have little interest in story modes and hacking hoards of AI enemies there is exactly no reason for me to play Nioh over For Honor. virtua fighter needs to come back, most technical and beautiful fighting system of any fighter and always had cutting edge graphics for its time.
Score is too low imo. My favorite game in a long time but I am worried non competitive gamers and people who don't invest time to master the learning curve will be put off by the difficulty. I can see this being very devisive where you either can't get into it or it becomes your favorite game.
Beta was beautiful playing on my gtx 1080 in 4k but I got the game for the ps4 so my girl could play as well and remarkably it looks every bit as good on the Pro. of course only at 30fps but I couldn't notice a difference in gameplay.
I played it on the PC and still have not deleted the beta because it was fantastic. Ended up pre-ordering it for the Pro because my better half has her own PS4 and loves the game as well. It is the only game that either of us have touched since the open beta hit a week ago. The game can only be boring if your not into competitive games or not willing to invest the time to flesh out the deep combat system. This game is a gem.

Not every game needs to be made for you single player only crybabies. This game was meant as primarily a competitive online multiplayer title from it's announcement more akin to a fighting game than a hack and slash. I didn't have any problems on the last beta. Plus the animations take enough frames to play out that slight lag will have less impact comparatively to traditional fighters.
This game is Awesome, can't wait to play again.

the beta was amazing. at first it may seem like a hack and slash and people tempted to play that way may get bored quickly, but it is really an open battle fighting game with a ton of depth, strategy, and variety. I was truley amazed. i loved playing the 1v1 battles and learning to master a character. this game is going to be awesome and i hope that the skill needed to be good is appreciated.
