Not suprising at all. Game sits at just over a 2 on metacritic user score. Im sure they wish they could hide that as well. What is so irritating is the critics continuing to give these games high praise overlooking all the glitches, gameplay issues and anti consumer decisions. I dont understand it, no other company could get away with this for several years in a row.

Most overrated sports game ever. Coming from a hardcore player the gameplay is a complete mess and it continues with its ridiculous pay to win microtransactions that are probably worse then any other full priced game on the market.

Im a hardcore nba 2k gamer but i get so sick of these high review scores. The game has so many problems, bugs, inconsistencies, and downrifght greedy forced pay to win micro transactions it is absurd to think it reviews so highly. Imagibe if this was a shooter from EA or activision, it would get decimated on metacritic. Nust go over there and look at the player review scores.
I agree, i have become a multiplayer only gamer as im highly competitive but bought this game because i am a life long fan of the character. I havent been able to put it down. Everything is done so well from the traversal to the combat and boss battles and even story. This is the game the fans deserved.
If your going to review this game you should have also reviewed it with the aim controller. Not necessary but adds a lot more immersion to the experience and makes it even better.
Except every concept going forward is how to make more from microtransactions. They actually made more in VC sales the last couple years then game sales, and this guy has the audacity to say it is because the gamer is forcing the need. No, it is selfish companies designing their games in a way to force pay to compete/pay to win on the consumers.
We have a switch but i personally never use it. But i would love this game on it so i can practice on road trips.
Didnt even know about this game until yesterday, but i am about to go drive 120 miles so i can pick up the closest aim bundle. Im a big mp gamer, and from the user feedback this sounds insane.
Why would i sleep any differently? I have not even played the game so i don't know how good it actually us. But the question is posed, and it has nothing to do with an 8 vs a 9, are truly evolutionary experiences being properly rewarded? We know dev teams many times have payment scales tied to metacritic averages. So if somone were to look at a game and see an 8 they may think that it might be decent but when realizing they have to drop a few gundred to play it wont give it a second thoug...
I keep hearing things like redefining, evolutionary, most intense, most realstic, best vr experience, yet these same reviews come in in the high 8s. With all the praise i would think this would be at least a 9 right? I mean mgs5 averaged like a 9.4 lol.
Check all the user reviews on this game, they are insanely high. Seems everyone that plays it loves it. Even the professional reviews that mark it in the 8s say is is remarkable, so not sure why they won't go for a remakable score lol. I just hace to find a store with the game and aim bundle.
Another thing gamers who are not business minded never consider. The economy has been on an upswing for quite sometime and people currently have expendable cash. However it is cyclical and bound to have some sort of recession before long. Why would they wait if they are ready and chance losing sales over financial concerns.
Have no Idea why all the disagree votes. As long as they have a couple skus it would be a great way to get the price down and maintain cutting edge tech for performance. I can see a sku with 4k Blu-ray drive for 500 and a diskless option for 400

I suggested a similar model a couple of months ago for around 30. This is where it would ve worth it for the early adopter market. If they deciced to start pumping out updated systems every two years and have a trade up program essentially lockibg you into the contract every two years but keeping you in updated systems that could rival pcs abilities. I suggested it because i would be happy to suscribe and have fresh tech.
Didnt know this had pvp, about to go buy it now.
