Ha! I actually downloaded Civ IV the other day, just for nostalgic reasons. The series is amazing.
Although, I don't like how in Civ V you can't stack military units on a tile. Aren't the tiles meant to represent large areas of space? Doesn't seem logical to be unable to place more than one unit on there.

Anyone at E3 that saw both in detail know that MS killed it with the games, while Sony just communicated its product better.
The ratings board just do their job. Unlike in US, Australia's classification board is a government initiative, so therefore the "standards of morality" are dictated by the government.
The country's also very politically fragile, more so than the US I'd argue, so a lot of these bans are "progressive censorship" because the guidelines are shaped around progressive teachings of morality.

I got to Brazil often for work and the PlayStation brand is not uncommon, even though it takes so long to get released there. The popularity of FIFA also helps PS seeing as though EA lead platform is PS3 (has been since around 2009).

"Next gen" is really just a buzz term that is commonly misused and misinterpreted. Anything that proceeds current tech and evolves/enhances what was previously offered is "next gen". Wii U is the "next gen" of Nintendo consoles.
People really need to stop looking at next gen as being purely driven by graphics, because it's not. If that's the logic you use then consoles have never been "next gen" because they're always trump...
