Bastion is perhaps the easiest hero to counter. Not sure how he fits into the "annoying" category. He lacks mobility and a bad player will overuse his self-healing charge.

It was actually E3 2015 that it was announced.
I saw it at E3 2011. It was very strange but also compelling and intriguing and the gameplay looked very deep. They had a big booth for it and then suddenly it disappeared off the face of the earth!
