Most of them are though...
I dunno about you guys but gaming has been a lot cheaper for me since I moved to PC (bought a graphics card).
It will be vastly superior. Infact, if they wanted to make the graphics hardware equally as bad as 360 and ps3 they would have to spend MORE money, because chips that weak aren't being manufactured anymore.
I'm not paying attention to it because I am not particularly excited about it :/
The movement and shooting in GeoW feels really clunky (default generic Unreal Engine feel), and that's something I don't like in a shooter. I will pick it up second hand to blast through the single player and try out the multiplayer for a couple of hours with friends, because it is a well made game and I want to see where the story is heading. But that is about it for me.
Sounds like you need dedicated servers. Consistent community of friendly players, because the pricks who join get banned.
I tend to try and get as many people as I know online at the same time; managed to get 13 of us in a BC2 server on the same team :P
Then theres co-op stuff like Terraria and Minecraft that is always great fun.
I was getting pretty bored of random XBL matchmaking around the time I built a gaming PC, the awesome random frien...
I think people buy them 99.999999999999999% of the time because of the games.
It has considerably more power than the Vita. Every few months they make a massive leap in performance - it is just what happens with non-fixed hardware platforms (smartphones and PCs).
cheesy marketing rubbish :/
It isn't really surprising that a brand new mobile chip can outperform 6 year old consoles on a per-pixel basis, I am not sure what they are getting at. And yes, a lot of smart phones have more RAM too. But the CPU power on them is just nowhere near enough to run the combination of AI and Physics which is already stretching the capabilities of the consoles (though consoles are more often limited by RAM).
Whenever new consoles a...
Fantastic game
Back when games were just games ^_^
palm face?
lol @ seagate
You want WD or Samsung (though I think Samsung have stopped making HDDs recently, or they are now branded Samsung but made by someone else)
They did indeed have only 9 months.
No, the devs confirmed that the 360 platform severely limited the game's scope.
Lost Odyssey 2 would be my main reason to buy the next MS console. If it doesn't get made or it is on a 'better' console, I probably wont get it.
"that staff left after 007 golden eye or perfect dark was made to form free radical dumb ass "
yes... but he is still right. they were from rare before that.
"our dear publishers should not interfere with a game’s development"
this ^
In today's industry all that publishers are needed for is localisation and getting the game in a box on shops' shelves.
They are under threat as a business plan, and they want their massive greedy profits (up to HALF of what you pay for the game). The profits should go to the developer so they don't have to close down, the publishers are in charge of thei...
I thought the same thing. But then I realised that it's the first time a console game has had an environment of that scale where everything is actually interactive and reachable - not just 2D backdrops filling in the blanks to make the environment look big. Combine that with rendering quality that is very close behind games like Crysis 2 and that it is managing 60fps; then you can see how big of a technical achievement they have made.
Also; I wouldn't class shaky, blu...
Terraria, Killing Floor.
Oblivion changed RPGs forever? What?
I'm pretty sure it didn't, though it is a fantastic game.
