Quite sad actually. BO doesn't count: the Treyarch games have always been cruddy so of course it is trash. (WaW was far better though)
CoD4 was a masterpiece, and MW2 was trying something a bit different. MW3 apparently goes back to what made CoD4 good - so it 'should' be the best CoD game yet if they properly build upon what 4 did right. The deal maker for me will be if it has dedis, no point buying it without. BF3 will probably have horrible gunplay again (and l...
"Battlefield relies on teamwork."
no... or at least, BC2 didnt. All you need is a good aim and you can insta-kill everybody defending on the enemy team and plant the bomb unhindered, done it plenty of times.
It would require teamwork if it ever occurred that both teams have competent players, but then the bugs and hit-reg issues would break it enough for that to become irrelevant still.
"gamers need to have their pick of the litter almost every month"
Like last gen? Those were the days, when there were actually some good games...
"Confirmed: most games released have been a bit crap"
There ^
Also, that is extremely naive use of metascores given that the scores games get are usually bad or skewed in the first place. As in, if cars 2 scores 75 - that doesn't mean that every game with a score of 74 or less is worse - it just means that reviewers are bias or looking for different standards which make the scores incomparable. For example, an indie game like Braid or World of Goo someho...
Instant fail because you have to buy a retail PC and it will be crap.
They will probably show off some tech demo that isn't actually running on the console hardware - not that I would expect them to have their hardware finalized at all, but anything they do show will be nothing but marketing crap.
Do they still sell 'violent' movies, TV shows, books etc? Fucking probably...
keep telling yourself that, tried comparing it to other similar devices?
"they cant sell another one every 1-2 years"
yes they can, thats what they've been doing.
I just don't want the guns to feel crap like they did in FC2. Any FPS is immediately bad if the shooting feels horrible.
Where is the MMO? Honestly they are sitting on a pile of billions...
HL2 doesn't feel like or look an old game at all.
I just want sensible prices for new launches. Why are they cheaper on DVD than through steam?
Well, I was going to buy 7 but theres no point if extreme legends is going to be along soon...

Also, anything made by Apple is extremely overpriced.
"If HTC or Smasung (or any other Android phone manufacturer) were to release a smartphone similar to the Xperia Play in 2012/2013, they could potentially be real contender in the handheld gaming market, at least for the more casual customer, and all that for a lower price than the Vita thanks to subsidisation."

But the main reason they would be good is because Android is an open platform, developing for 3ds or psv means nint/sony have a say i...
Might have to go wipe the dust off my 360 or ps3 for this one.
Apple logic... the less overpriced something is, the worse it is; apparently.

But tbh BC2 was a spray and pray noobfest too. Or rather: throw infinite nades and pray noobfest, but at least the maps have enough space for you to move somewhere that won't bottleneck you into the explosions.
