And the funny thing is, Counter Strike Source on 'max' (there isn't really a max, movie configs add new shaders etc.) graphics looks better than any CoD game (though the map scale is smaller...).
Regarding the author's #1 reason, he already made that invalid by complaining at FPSs in #4 lol.
Oh and I was going to say: MW on PC doesn't feel like a port. The only port-type things are the simplified ping meter and the lack of dedicated server...

Looking at the launch games on those 10 consoles, the ones I truely loved were Rayman, Super Mario World, Halo, CoD2, Time Splitters, Tekken tag Tournament, Dynasty warriors 2. The other games look so meh that I am surprised anybody even buys consoles at launch.

The 3DS just came out too early, people were contempt with their DS and don't want to throw loads of money away again on another handheld. Also, most of the casual market think that the 3DS is just a new iteration and not an actual new console altogether because Nintendo have saturated their sector of the handheld market with loads of similar devices and poisoned their own consumer base's opinions.

It's a bad game though.
I hate CoD because they are incapable of doing it right yet they have the foundation of the game there to make an amazing fps.
It is something about the feel of the guns in CoD that is great. Nearly everything else is total rubbish.
You need to try MW1 though because that was actually a brilliant game and had a competitive scene (like any good FPS will). I think it is only alive on the PC though (dedis).

Vehicular combat is always bad unless it is in Halo, Mario Kart or Rollcage 2. The vids of it in RAGE looked like total kak.
