A game that launches so broken doesn't deserve to make any money tbh.
Wish I hadn't bought it now. I wouldn't have pirated it either, last game I torrented was black and white because my disk is super scratched. If we pay for games as buggy as Skyrim, then devs (and publishers) will keep releasing them unfinished - you wouldn't pay for an unseasoned meal at a restauraunt, why pay for an un polished game? Would you want the chef continually returning to the tab...
lol, low res screenshots to show off graphics as is usual from those type of sites :s
And where do people get this thought that skyrim looks so amazing? The art direction is fantastic and the distant mountains and clouds are quire nicely done but the rendering is FAR from cutting edge and everything close up is really low quality with blatent texture seams etc. I'm not complaining about Bethesda (it would be just as good a game if it had PS2 graphics imho), but the uninformed peop...
also MC has barely improved this year. People already bought it so notch cba making it awesome anymore. If it had the depth that Terraria had... omgz. MC wasn't really a 2011 game imho
Those games don't cost $60 though...
And OpenGL4.2....
Yeah, included motion control would raise the cost and most of us don't want it.
Edit: fail that was already said lol
Author is clueless lol. Obvious points and stupid ones were made... what about free online from MS? Don't want that? (I'm not a fanboy I use my 360 more than my PS3)
Dragon age 2 & DS3 suck even worse that's why...
Who are the 5+ million people who liked FF13?
And most reviews are BS too incase you somehow didn't notice.
What about Lost Odyssey? It's certainly underappreciated.
I take it you didn't play it much.
Some of the battles were genuinely very hard while some where far too easy (which did sadly include the concluding battles)
Like all FF games, your victory is due to good prep, it just happened to involve gambits. FF12's main problem was the characters and story holes. Which 13 did a lot worse still.
Yes
That is all
Hmmm... I agree.
Played none of them though lol! The first CoJ sucked though.
If they have done all the hidden sidequests/objectives in 1 week then it must have less depth than older FF games :/
In FF you practically have to run around everywhere spamming X and talking to every character between every storyline set piece, unless you have some reference/rumour about a quest or secret.
Or have they done away with awesome like that?
"Take a few pages from Bethesda’s playbook and actually add depth to your game."
Huh? Bethesda's recent games don't have much depth. They just have loads and loads of content (with little depth). Which is what TES should be most of the time.
But that IS what Dead Island did, a lot of content but no depth - which doesn't work for that kind of game. They need to take a page out of many other people's books (Square, Lionhead (Fable 1 just), CDPR, Bungie)...
Yeah.
The gunplay is so damn awesome though, it keeps me entertained.
At some point they probably will make 2143. Could be 10 years away, who knows. So they probably add easter eggs in like that all the time because they will eventually turn out true, not to hint at the next thing they are working on. Though it could be the next thing they will make :P
2143 would be a very good game in the current fps climate, I can imagine the visual effects/graphics it would have right now :O
Could make an old-school style (clunky controls like resi) survival horror for android & ios; get some new blood into the genre.
It's not that stunning.
The video editing/composition is very good though.
But... I do those stunts and better ones all the time in-game, you have to to break line of sight and ditch rockets (make 'em hit the side of the buildings or terrain) that lock on in good timing when you don't have flares. I've seen other people do it too, it isn't just me - most decent pilots fly like that constantly.
To fly well (helis and jets):
...
Bleh again, I don't like the look of the characters :(
This^
Except I chose my ISP carefully.
Yeah, most viruses/malware etc. that people end up with is from pirated software.
