Quantity will NEVER replace quality. And IMHO, after owning all the Playstations and XBOX's, Sony has a more proven track record of providing both throughout their consoles life cycles. Sony has always said it's a marathon not a sprint and they have proven they can go the distance in every race.

When the PS launched in Japan I rented one from an electronics shop and after playing it a couple hours I imported one from Japan. I imported several games they had out at the time. So when the PS launched in America I already played most of the games by importing them from Japan so I wasn't too excited to get one then.

You will be one lucky mofo to get it even a day early. I haven't been this excited for a new generation since the PS2. Camped out 2 nights straight and was the 2nd in line Best Buy. So glad I don't have to do that again. It was a blast but I'm too old for that sh*t now.

This is one of those games you have to be locked in to play but can end up consuming your whole day playing. Hair on fire type of games. Especially as you progress to harder levels.
They use to say the same thing about broadband connections, 5.1 sound systems, HDTV's (480p on up), etc. Just because it's the minority doesn't mean those that do have it wont want product that supports it.
Personally I have 5 3D displays and I rarely ever use it. Not that I don't like it but just that most of my movie watching is done in my theater and my projector doesn't support 3D but my next one will.

I have a DS4. Been using it the past week on my PS3 and PC. It feels a lot different now with the widen grips, material on the back and around the grips, thumb sticks are shorter, have more tension and concaved design feels so much better. The triggers are fantastic as well.
Overall I'm very impressed with the DS4. Sony knocked it out of the park with these changes. I can't wait to use it with an actual PS4 game.

I have a few smart TV's and my newest one (Samsung) has motion and voice commands. I used those features all of about a few times. The only time I use them now is if a friend drops over that hasn't seen it yet.
Like with gaming nothing beats having buttons to input the action more accurately.
If you're going to the midnight launch it's only 3 more days. Wake up Thursday morning knowing that before you hit the rack a PS4 will be in your home.
Killzone Shadow Fall will be the first game I play.
