Shinuz, EVERYTHING!
The T500 makes the Logitech G27 feel like a plastic toy. Trust me I have owned and tried them all. Currently I own 2 Fanatec 911 S, a Fanatec GT2 and the T500. I used to own the G27, G25 and Momo. My only gripe with the T500 is no shifter, no 360 support, no stand alone shifter (at this time) and it doesn't support older PS3 title.
The force feedback on the T500 is in a league of it's own. It is the best wheel I have ever tried -$2k. IMH...
It was like watching Avatar as in they are both in a form of 3D? Avatar is one of the best looking and performing 3D movies out. That is like comparing headphones using simulated surround to a stand alone 5.1 (or higher) DD sound system. They might be similar but are on completely different leagues.
Unlike you Hitman I was not the least bit excited over the 3DS. I knew this is how it would play out. Viewfinder type 3D (a small viewing cone) with the same old scenario of Nintendo regurgitated titles on anaquated hardware.
If you get a chance try the Fanatec GT2 and Thrustmaster T500. The only problem with the T500 is it only works on the PS3 and it doesn't support older games. The GT2 work with practically everything and it has full adjustability on the fly.
No doubt about it.
Currently the Astro A40's are king of the hill.
I can't wait to see what these companies (Astro, Razer, Plantronics, Logictech, TB, Tritton, etc) have in store for us in the near future and down the road.
No ShadyDevil the Tritton headset is not simulated sound. What it is speakers smaller than what use to be in tiny cheap transistor radios.
As far as the Astro A40 you really should look into them and understand the tech behind them before commenting on them. Judging from your submission history I am going to go out on a limb and say you wrote this review. At the very least work for or possibly own the site that produced it.
I have tried the Trittons, Tur...
The only people a set like this is good for are those that graduate from TV sound to these gaming headphones. If you are use to a decent 5.1 or higher quality sound than spend the extra coin, get a decent pair of phones from Denon, AKG, Beyer Dynamics, Sennheiser, with the Astro mix amp, cheap headphone amp or a cheap to skys the limit sound receiver.
I have tried various gaming headphones and none of the measure up to even lower end versions from the companies I listed abo...
After an open set like Sennheiser 650's or a closed pair like the Denon D2000, or D5000. Trying a pair of Astro's is like going from a high end flat panel to a Magnavox.
This title is very troubling.
First of all MS what about the other 11 months in the year and especially the first 8 months leading up to Gears of War 3?
2nd What about all the other games being released during September (tad bit arrogant), especially Rage? It might not live up to the hype or it could very well be one of the bigger releases of the year.
Finally this is very discerning that you are already focused on September with Gears of War whe...
Damn, game was barely on my radar but now I am going to have to put it on and move it to the top of the list.
Well said

No
You're joking, right?
This looks like complete trash. It looks and moves like a first generation Saturn title.
This is horrid. It looks and moves like a game from a decade ago. Who is going to purchase this crap?
How about a game that has nearly 300 peoples name listed in the end credits that took nearly 6 years to make? That is roughly how many people were listed in the end credits. Now some of them were listed for multiple catergories but no way in hell were only 20 or 30 people from Remedy responsble for Alan Wake.
I played and completed it twice and the end credits took roughly 4 to 5 minutes. You can google the end credits and see for yourself.
Now if people ...
Ditto.
The surprising part about Infamous for me was I wasn't even going to rent it until a friend talked me into picking it up. I ended up playing and completing it nearly 4 times. I would spend countless hours just roaming the city riding the rails, trains, power lines and blowing stuff up.
Infamous 2 is my most anticipated title for 2011. Once I have played and completed it several times I will turn my focus towards Uncharted 3.
Do they still manufacture units without Kinect bundled with them? I thought I read a few weeks back that MS will bundle Kinect with all 360 units from here on out to take it down to two sku's instead of four.
^Says the immature childish troll with the lameass avatar and username. This does effect Sony so it is in fact news for this site. You making light of a tragedy disgust those that actually value human life regardless of which shore it hits.
Seriously, grow the hell up and go troll a different article. I really wish moderators which just instantly ban trolls like you for making light of such a serious situation.
Drazz it matters to developers that want to make money off of their future projects for Kinect if they feel people are not bothering with it after purchasing one.
You took part of my response to literally and another part not seriously enough. The Thrusmaster T500 makes the Logitech G27 or below feel like a plastic toy. IMO, and that of hundreds of others that have tried them all, its more than 3x better than a G27 and it doesn't cost nearly 3x as much. Currently it's 2x and once the shifter comes out it will be 2 and 1/3 more.
Mine only costed $500 but I had a gift card for $50 and found it for $550 w/free shipping. Where di...
