Up until Splinter Cell Conviction sales have steadily declined on the XBox to 360 versions as well. Take into consideration that they scrapped SSC and started over from scratch. That could not have been cheap. 700k more units sold from the previous installment more than likely did not make them any bank.

CrimsonEngage I disagree about the new 360 silver controller. The only thing it adds is elevation to the pad and it does absolutely nothing to change the performance of the d-pad from the non elevated / original 360 controller. It performs identical to the original d-pad. I should know since I own 2 new 360 controllers and every fighter available for the 360.
Sony went way above and beyond to fix their security and get PSN back online. Plus they offered excellent welcome back gifts to their consumers. They did not have to do that. The only people they might have owed a little something to is PS+ subscribers. Other than them their only obligation was to make PSN more secure and reboot it ASAP and they did exactly that.

It's always been this way. The majority of big market titles coming out during the holiday season. Thankfully Sony brings their consumers quality exclusive titles year round. I cant remember the last time there was a gaming drought on the PS3.

I wont argue graphics and sound because that is totally subjective but gameplay and control depends on the way you play sim racers.
