its great they included the japanese voice overs with choice of english subs. i hate listening to english voice actors. that why i watch all my anime subbed.
but anyways, it looks like it was hit hard for loading, which is sort of a surprise for me. also, i agree that the character designs are stiff and mechanics are sort of out dated.
but i'll be getting the ost if nobuo did give this his best.
X is arguably my favorite FF, conflicting with VI. i have to disagree with your graphics quip, because as it stands, its still one of the better looking games on the ps2, and it was released a year and some months into its life cycle (sounds like another ff game coming soon..)
but the story was fantastic, battle system was great too. quick swapping characters made keeping everyone on a similar level easy, and the spheregrid was a genius idea.

haha.. thats kinda weird. do you think its intentional? also, its kind of disappointing the camera didn't follow Nero for the first few seconds he was off screen.
i'm all for air combos, but that seems broken to me.
haha.. Raynor was such a badass back in starcraft 1. the first hero unit you control. there's a bond there. plus his VA does a good job especially when you loose Kerrigan to the zerg. i hope they get the same guy to come back.

well tough, at most, europeans tend to have three accounts. in the us, they have 2, and in japan, they only have 1. that way, they have access to all the demos whenever they come out.
so your comment about 5 accounts was a little outrageous and caused people to disagree with you.
i'm willing to bet that sales in the US will shoot up after the release of mgs4, like the ps2 did with the release of mgs2

kevon, i think a lot of people here started playing games after the year 2000. they don't remember the good times, with genesis and snes fighting it out.
people did play video games before 2000, which is something many many many people on this site forget.
SNES was the best with ps2 coming in second. i'll never forget the hours i blew playing R-type, link to the past, f-zero, MK... oh man. haha

<3 bluetooth. my dad and cousins still point the controller at the ps3 when they try to fast forward or something in a movie. (my mom is technologically inept) i laugh at them...
it does have "free" AA. 10mb of edram enjoys an incredibly fast bandwidth, which allows it to "alpha blend, framebuffer, and antialias."
by free, i mean it can do it without a performance hit.

a little off topic, but please don't mention ninja gaiden and final fantasy in the same sentence. they're completely different genres and in completely different classes..
you can even boot camp your xp or vista and use the included drivers to play games. thats what i did when i had an xp partition on my macbook. i just tinkered with stuff and let it get all bugged up. downloaded all these apps and files and when it became effed up, i just erased the partition.
and i'd rather have consistently high quality hardware at a slightly higher price than have crappy hardware with a crappy os.
