I would much rather go for the 200 series once the price/perform ratio is settled. The 4870 run hotter than hell making Crossfire a huge pain in the ass. Plus I think Nvidia have more headroom for performance increases than ATI.
The haters always talk about how KZ 2 is just more of the same. This article proves them wrong. I can't wait for what KZ2 multiplayer have to offer. The 16 vs 16 games should be a total blast, dedicated servers for the win.
Thats not long. There's no way a game install will take 5 hours, unless they're loading 30 gigs on to the hard drive and even that doesn't take 5 hours.

MGO do not have dedicated servers. Its peer to peer. Dedicated servers are always there day or night, thats how you know.
Maybe because they're turrets? I dunno about you but turrets usually turn, shoot, and shake. I suppose some "nextgen" turret animations is being finalized as we speak. I'm sure you'll find something else to nitpick then too.
This game simply can not be in pre-alpha. That is pure BS. At this point they must be in the middle of the internal beta. If KZ 2 is still in the pre-alpha stages then the Feb 2009 ship date is in trouble. It might be a little too early to show the game because of all the unoptimized gameplay and AI issues, yes. But pre-alpha? No way.

I think its safe to say their attempt at creating an Outer Haven from PSN is a fiasco. In theory what Konami is doing is great for the industry, third party devs should be able to collect their own fees and operate independently from the main network. If done correctly it could lead to a Steam like version for the console world which could give the PSN a run for its money and encourage competition.
