I'm sorry but this 4870 X2 was rather disappointing. First it failed to edge out the single GPU OC 280 GTX in the Crysis benchmarks and thats a biggie. The second problem is the heat. A single a 4870 is already like opening the gateway to hell on top of your motherboard, the card is dangerously hot. Now with two GPU the card is running at a blistering 90 C and the heat completely unacceptable. That isn't just hot, thats enough to burn the skin off your hand.
The PC version of CoD 4 is an embarrassment of riches, there's really not much anyone could ask for.
1. PC version support dedicated servers. No lag and host disconnected issues. The so called "crappy" browser is 10 times better than the console's match making. For example PC users can actually choose the map they want to play on. Server admins can pick and choose which perks and game options to allow, no more cheesy martyrdom in hardcore.
2. Full mod sup...
Its the Holy Grail of not just the MMO world, but the gaming world in general. The fanboys here love to talk about sales numbers but nobody is talking about the MASSIVE amount of cash Blizzard is raking in every year. We're talking about the most profitable hardcore game ever made here, blockbuster games like GTA 4 and Halo 3 are pathetic compared to WoW.

The worst thing about Conan is the total lack of direction regarding class balancing and the end game PvP causing the player base to start leaving en mass. I haven't seen so many people leaving a MMO after the first month since Vanguard....and they're still not done bleeding players.
You need to play the PC version of L4D and TF 2 to know what he's talking about. Failing that, watch the gameplay vids. This game is not console friendly at all. The running speed is roughly the same as UT 3 and the gameplay is similar to Counterstrike. Is this guy playing Crysis with a 360's controler or something 'cause he totally SUCKS. He frequently misses easy shots no PC gamer would ever miss and it seems he's playing on easy mode because he just charge into a group of bad guys without a care in the world and live.
Now the 360 will look like what it really is, a small scale PC. This is small step in the right direction, but the ultimate goal would be a 360 emu. Of course Microsoft would go ape $hit over such a thing but eventually we'll get there.
I can see Sony throwing this cheap on future PS3 to lower heat and production cost. But right now the big dollar item in the PS3 is really the Bluray drive. Until they knock the typical Bluray player down to $60-80, how much money are they really saving?

Played Bioshock again on my PC with everything maxed and full 1080p. Everything about the game is massively superior to the 360's version in all regards, but the graphics still looks dated and old. There was a brief point in time when Bioshock could be considered as state of the art, but that time is now history.
I was hoping the PS3 would be able to put some of that mythical "4D" effects to work on Bioshock's water but no dice. Now if water effects in FPS is your thing...
You shouldn't be shocked. The PC version is always the best and fully featured. See games like CoD 4, Gears of War, and a host of others, the PC always win.
