Very nice display but I sure as hell don't need the GPU to shoot paint balls. Nvidia should focus their on Physics X capabilities instead. Show me some in game physics effects that the console couldn't possibly handle then I'll be impressed.
Seriously, that's obvious. Online centric games usually don't have a lot of cut scenes, if any.
So are there going to be a lot of Mexicans day laborer in this game fighting for the "right" to a green card? I love political games but tackling these subjects are boring. Terrorism in particular has been done to death.
If FF is going to showcase the issue of terrorism by blurring the lines between the freedom fighter and terrorist then don't bother, that representation of the subject has been done a hundred times in games by now, you can see this in Neverwinter Night...
Because the Oh No you Didn't add is playing NONESTOP on ESPN and the NFL Network. It is not possible to watch a single preseason football without seeing this catchy add a billion times. Not even Halo 3 had this much air time. Where the hell is EA getting the money to advertise this game so much, its everywhere, on CNN, on ESPN, on CBS, I can't go a day without seeing it.
On the PC all this will be free and available two months earlier. LAME. Live need to stop ripping people off.
If they bring Crysis to the console without the PC's uber texture resolutions and amazing graphics then they just lost everything that made the game great. Just ask yourself this, will KZ 2 be a great game if the graphics and textures looks like Haze? I doubt it. Amazing over the top texture and effects is Crysis's main selling point, without that...the game isn't much to write home about.
Plus Crytek sucks at optimization. Their typical method of game design is to squeeze every ...
You can never tell. There are a bunch of console fanboys who will disagree with anything threat this superior to their crappy Halo 3 and KZ 2.
Hopefully they'll bring the Enhanced Edition to the console because this is one of the best RPGs out there. Many RPGs allow you to choose between good or evil, and the choices are obvious. This is not so in the Witcher. The line between good and evil is completely blurred and in many cases the right choice may not be the best choice, in fact doing something that seems right and fair at the time can end up screwing your quest line later on. Overall a great RPG that need a console port.
This is like asking NASA to tweak the spaceshuttle so it can run on Diet Pepsi and Mentos. You can't "tweak the tech" for raytracing. To do true raytracing in games you'll need a breakthrough GPU and a DX architecture that doesn't exist yet.
Anyone who think the console can do real time raytracing to render games is obviously a moron.
There are a lot of hurt players out there. We need a roster update.
Its like a BASE GPU from 2006. The GPUs in the PS 3 and 360 were top of line in 2006, big difference....they're crap now and isn't worth more than $70 but thats besides the point.
I would rather have booth babe pixs than just another boring article about the console war.
In order to cap bandwidth you must reduce price. The first ISP to cap downloads without reducing their monthly will be destroyed in the highly competitive market.
He sucks at his job.
Please don't bother comparing things like the TV LCD's contrast ratio too the computer LCD monitor because thats just ignorant.
It doesn't matter if you're playing, say, Gears of War on a budget 24 inch computer monitor because it'll still look hell lot better than the Xbox Gears of War by a ton. The difference is night and day. You'll be able to see high res textures, and true depth of view that simply doesn't exist on the console. So it doesn't matter if you playing the console...
This game will never see the light of day. If they can't even get the PC version out of the pay beta period, good luck attempting this on the console.
You can't be serious. The draw distance goes for miles, not sure how you missed that.
Some people prefer to play games on their console just like how some people prefer to listen to music on their ipod instead a full blown stereo system. In terms of audio quality and sound experience the ipod get crushed a good stereo system, just like how the consoles can't come close to the PC's high res graphics and extra features.
The Far Cry formula sucks. The first few missions might be cool but after a while the game get boring fast and the uber graphics simply run out of steam after you spent the entire game at the same general location. What this game need is a mission structure with an engaging narrative and characters like GTA. It seems they haven't learned anything from the first game at all.
