As an onlineRPG, its pretty good. As a MMO. Its crap. I have never seen a MMO with such a desolate chat ever. You feel completely alone in the world, its as if other players are bots. Unless you're in a guild, you might go for hours in most crowded social hub without seeing someone speak a single word.
Outside of the PQ camps and constant wait for the SC pop there is nothing to do. RvR is utterly pointless because the reown abilities are meaningless and so is the loot. Taking kee...
How many PS3 owners are hurting because they can't get the precious GTA 4 DLC? Prolly none, they're too busy looking forward to Resistant 2 and KZ 2. How about PC gamers, do they give a damn about the 360 DLC for GTA? Nope, they have the best version of GTA 4 and they're too busy playing the best looking game in the industry with Crysis: Warhead to care.
In other words, DLC = fail. After the CoD 4 DLC, I doubt anyone give a rat's ass about this ripoff scheme anymore.
This guy is a fraud. My PC run Warhead just fine, 45 FPS on gamer settings.
Those shots are very impressive considering what was done with hardware that is essentially 3 years old. In the computing world thats one year away from being a fossil. To pull out a game that on that kind of hardware and make it RELATIVELY competitive to Crysis is an astounding achievement.

This is another reason why I've been gaming on my PC more than my 360. I can play a retail quality game with the best graphics in the industry at zero cost. Between War Hammer, The Witcher Special Edition and this I no longer care about crap like Gears of War 2 and Fable 2.

Most console games are never higher 640p and few are true 720p. Wipeout HD is one of the rare few that is true 1080 with the texture resolution to match.
This will be an obvious fail when pitched against real GPUs. Intel lack the performance to backup the hype.

This water effects looks primitive as hell, I would be impressed if this kind of "dynamic" water effects came out on launch date, but its 2008 now!
The best water effects on the console still belong to Uncharted, and the best water effects in a shooter is split between Crysis: Warhead and Stalker: Clear Sky. In Clear Sky water actually flow around and pools into objects in a realistic manner.
Wake me up when some other game does that.

I love the BIA franchise but I absolutely hate the over dramatic crap that the game constantly throw at you. It ruins the gritty combat experience. WW 2 games should be about killing nazis and intense battles, not cheesy emo cut scenes and "its about the man next to you" warrior philosophy BS.
In other words, this game need to be more like Band of Brothers and less like The Thin Red Line.
The player isn't the issue. Just buy the PS3, problem solved.
The issue here is the cost of Bluray movies, particularly new movies. Some Bluray movies are still in the $25-30 price range, thats unacceptable. If Sony is serious about mass marketing the BR format they MUST reduce the unit cost for movies. The current pricing is just stupid, it should be a superior format to DVD, not a premium alternative!
What this game need is a GTA4 style narrative to wrap it up. Right now its just about riding around and killing people.
Just like how GTA 4 and Mass Effect isn't coming to the PC right folks? LOL!! What a bunch of BS. This game is a LOCK for a PC release six months down the road with better textures and graphics. They're just saying this to appease the 360 owners. It doesn't matter anyways, 6 months from now GoW 2 still won't look as good as Crysis: Warhead and it'll be overshadowed by KZ 2.
