Left for Dead isn't about the graphics obviously. Its about shooting zombies, and for the peeps hating on the demo. Give it a break. Its not even the full level which is played online as a campaign. No game is ever going to be perfect but so far a lot of peeps are hooked on L4D and the reviews will be very positive.

The L4D demo is awesome, on the PC. Anyone with any CS experience can pick it up in a second a be screaming like a girl in the next. At $45 its a great game with an endless stream of free maps and custom content.
On the console however L4D rockets up to $60 and for a online game it only offer 10 maps with more to come as DLC.
I'm sorry Valve but you're ripping us off. If you're gonna push an online game for $60 then you sure as hell better pack in more than 10 maps ...
Why not just use any of the Nvidia or ATI chipset thats flooding the market. Its not like they can't be used for 264 encoding.

My comp can handle this game easily. No sweat. I can't wait to play GTA 4 with graphics that doesn't look like crap and draw distance that doesn't look like my character is blind.
Why do you care? It isn't an exclusive to any system plus Dice is a PC developer. The PC version probably doesn't require any work other than high res textures.

You do not want to play this game with a gamepad anymore than you want to play Counterstrike with a gamepad. Trust me on this, you want mouse aiming when playing this game. There's a ton of zombies, they all run at Unreal 3 speed and they can jump. If that isn't bad enough you might be the guy who is stuck with a bolt action rifle and 12 rounds. Even with a full group of players every single shot must count or else you'll never make out of the level alive.

The computing power of the PC is insane. Just look at whats possible with the Crysis level editor. Makes 1200 zombies standing around doing nothing seems tame.

Its useless for preventing piracy. These days most people who pirate do not burn games, they get them from the Internet and it doesn't matter what protection you have, the real pirates will crack it like an egg.
Fallout 3 rips through 50 FPS on my PC on ultra. While the game doesn't look amazing it looks a hell lot better than my cousin's 360's. There are a lot character textures and details missing on the console. However the biggest difference between Fallout 3 on the PC and the console is the load time. The PC quick load is so fast that sometimes I get lost and can't even tell what just happened.
For the PC. LOL. I'm sorry but its true. I would not buy this game for the 360, you'll end up being nickle and dimed to death on stuff that Valve gives away for free to the PC users. Plus all the latest patches and updates happen on the PC first.
