I guess for the consoles all the extra starting equipment makes the world of a difference. For the PC they can just download a mod or drop a suit of power armor and a power rifle at your character's feet with a few console commands hence rendering the pre-order equipment meaningless.
The extent in which console players are getting screwed on content vs their PC counter parts in games like this is simply absurd.
I watched Terminator: Sara Connors Chronicles for hours with no problems.
First it was Civ 5, now this. Damn, damn, damn.
Finally, a Japanese shooter that isn't a piece of crap. The campaign may not be long but it's quality material.

DLC 1: Being able to save your achievements
DLC 2: Being able to play multiplayer
DLC 3: Being able to finish the single player campaign.
With Activision I wouldn't be shock if thats the case with their so called DLCs.

Since this article was obviously written by an idiot the nano suit didn't make the cut. Yet for some reason he mentioned the Mass Effect suit and Half Life's HEV. None of those are iconic. Overall this article is just full of fail for mentioning so many suits that doesn't deserve to be mentioned.
The bigest fail of them all is omitting the Warhammer 40K Space Marine power suit. It's the franchise that invented THE Space Marine and THE power suit.
Be prepared for a let down. It'll prolly be MGS: Puzzle Fighter for the iPad or some sort of hand held game.
Considering the fact that it took 4 years to crank out MGS 4 I doubt we be seeing another true MGS game this gen. If they're starting now, it's too late.
