Asking MMO fans to keep good personal hygiene is like forcing Xbox Live! subscribers to not use racial slurs and homophopic insults while playing Modern Warfare 2 online.

I dislike playing shooter betas because I prefer to experience the joy of playing a polished product for the first time. That said the beta footage are pretty badass. Clearly the most awesome shooter on the console. All of misguided CoD fanboys can go to hell.
That might be it. Really the population of arcade racing fans on the PC is virtually zero and the hardcore PC racers usually play games you have never heard of.
Real gamers do it all baby! I have both a kick ass gaming PC and a PS3 (360+PC=pointless) so I can experience the best of both worlds. If I'm not mistaken most hardcore pc gamers own a console anyways. I really don't understand why one would willingly deprive himself from either experience.
There is going to be some sort of DRM regardless so it might as well be Steam's which I know for a fact, won't be harmful to my PC or compromise it's security.
Personally I use both Steam and DD because they compliment each other perfectly.
We'll be buying Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 off the PSN for $15 right now. More than anything that's what I love most about Steam. They have impossibly low prices when games are on sale.
Watchout there's a ton of Steam fanboys here who will rob you blind of bubbles whenever someone speak out against Steam.
Another problem with Steam? Preorder games will not be playable until 9 AM Eastern of the release date, god knows why. Where as DD games will be playable at the stroke of midnight.
However the Steam community is huge and they do have the most and best sales. Their sales are so damn good that they usually crush DD offerings. For example ...

Microsoft is like a dog chasing after cars. It doesn't know why it's chasing and it doesn't even know what to do with car once it's caught up.
What they need to do is pull back and focus on making the PC freaking awesome. Thats their strong suit.

I'm sorry but those specs are very standard fare for an Android phone. I thought a "gaming" PSP phone would be a lot beefier. I can't imagine playing God of War and still recieve emails, text and various background apps on such a machine. Then there is the issue of the battery life. High end Droids are hurting for battery life as it is (Evo), turning it into a dedicated gaming device would make things even worst.

There is a difference between a dedicated gaming platform and a general purpose platform. Thats why PC gaming specs are god like compared to the PS3. They actually need all that horse power to run apps in the background as well as crank out awesome graphics.
I like how player movements are a lot smoother.
F-ing Steam and god damn sales. I have a shit load of games I bought from Steam that I have yet to finish playing, I just bought Batman game of the year edition for a criminally low price and now they're rolling out more good stuff.
