As for Crysis 2, I haven't seen a single shot that can be characterized as amazing. Crysis Warhead can look just as good. I can hardly tell the difference between the two games.
A top of the line MMO: Bioware's Starwars MMO could be huge.
A top of the line shooter franchise: Latest MoH, was unpolished and overhyped. A decent single player but online was meh. Try harder EA.
On the plus side EA completely dominate the RPG and sports genre.

Played yes, finished, no. I'm too much of a pussy to continue playing that game. Sometimes I get so scared that I have to leave the computer and pace around my room a bit to clam my nerves.
What I find strange is that the monsters isn't that scary. It's just that game projects such an overwhelming atmosphere of fear and dread that it's impossible to take a step further even when I realize that it's all just a game.
You don't know a damn thing about this game yet you're already bashing it? There's not even a screenshot to see what's it's all about.
I agree. Home is not what I expected it to be mainly because it's slow as hell and there's way too much loading. How am I supposed to have a smooth social gaming experience if I'm greeted with constant loading where ever I go? They should just close it down and save it for the nextgen of consoles so it'll actually work the way it's intended.
I just want less bugs. Starting with Fallout 3 Beth's games has been buggy as hell. On the PC the bugs can be dealt with by console commands and mods but on the PS3 you're screwed and could lose hours of gameplay until they lay out the patch. In fact to this date Fallout 3 is still kinda buggy, never mind Fallout: NV which was buggier than a roach motel.

MMO have been dying lately? Such as...? Hell, I have never seen so many MMOs on the market at once.
The PS3 version is surprisingly good. But too much time is spend at the damn loading screen for my taste. As long as the servers doesn't support cross platform playing then PS3 players should be fine. Otherwise PC players will have too much of an advantage in raid and pvp situations.
Umm, this must be your first MMO. There's nothing huge about DCU's gaming world. You're just playing in a bunch of instances. If you think this is addictive then do yourself a favor and avoid the real MMOs. You'll never leave the house.
I'm agreeing here. There's no need for the Bluray version of this game since MMOs are not static like other games.

I was a big Heavy Rain hater until I finally played it. It looks boring and I thought PC adventure games shouldn't be played on consoles because...it looks boring LOL. Man was I wrong. Quantic Dream should get some major props for pulling this off. Out of all of the contestants Heavy Rain is the only game of it's kind in this gen.
Vanquish is good too, mainly because the Japanese managed to create a shooter that doesn't suck. Thats big for them, shame it was kind...
I dunno if I want another dedicated gaming machine. My PS3 does a lot so this thing better have a web browser and double as tablet too. Having an iPhone, an iPad, a Kindle and a gaming hand held is too much. Maybe what I need is the PS phone LOL.
Who cares when the PS3 came out Europe. Did they designed a brand new PS3 for that region? It's still the same technical design save for the smaller Cell in the Slim. Plus the same thing happened when Sony introduced the PSP after the PS 2 passed the 5 years mark so don't get so butt hurt because a hand held is reaching some sort of parity with your precious table top.

I wish this guy would STFU and go on a media blackout until his game comes out. He would go on and on and throw his unwanted 2 cents about everything gaming related under the sun. Yet it took years to even admit that Twisted Metal is even under development. Even up to now there's no solid release date and there's not a word regarding Twisted Metal itself.

Maybe because capturing all the little decisions will take the comics pass 10 mins and into 30 mins.
