It's like they're determined to fail, as if totally botching the Final Fantasy MMO isn't enough they must try harder to soak this franchise in shit.
Please do not compare Alice in Wonderland to FF 13. One is a classic work of literature, world renowned. The other is hours and hours of unmitigated emmo whinny spiked haired garbage. I do not hate JRPGs until I played FF13. In fact FF13 just destroyed any desire to try any JRPG ever again for me.
If it weren't for Demon Souls, this genre would be doomed.
I'm a big HHG hater myself, but even I gotta admit that HHG interviews are usually fun and very energetic. Its like a giant hype rocket blasting off and you can't help but get swept up in it all. Good entertainment, nothing more.
And then there's the belt...LOL!! Fucking ridiculous. HHG is good in small doses I suppose but sometimes the bullshit can get a bit thick. Specially when he tries to pass himself off as a serious "gaming journalist".
Not the game, the download. I started three hours ago and it's just half way done...WTF?
I have no clue WTF this "Tester 2" is because it's just a bunch of live blog garbage, but that picture stopped me in my tracks. It's hot. Not super awesome hot like Madonna kissing Britney but hot enough to make me stop and look for like 5 minutes.
.
I wouldn't mind if it was. But having a single player game is good too. Frankly Bethesda games are buggy enough already, making a MMO would only compound that.
This is what happens when you make a shooter without dedicated servers support. You reap what you sow. I said it once and I'll saying again a billion times, peer to peer in FPS needs to die and die quickly.
Stop buying this crap and maybe the devs will see the light. I'm so glad that this host migration bullshit never happens in Killzone.
You know a genre is jumping the shark when it has to resort to cross overs to generate interest. Soul Calibur with Star Wars, Street Fighter and MK with comics, and now...MK with Kratos. Plus it doesn't make any god damn sense. Kratos is so uber that he can kill gods so he should easily be able to handle Scorpion.
In Uncharted's genre monsters are a must since we're frequently dealing with the supernatural. Bring on the mummies.
Epic fail. I thought these guys were playing Two Worlds 2 LOL. No wonder it looks like crap.
Ah thats good to know. What a deal too.
This game comes out after Killzone 3. I will forget all about it by then.
When is this game coming to the PS3?
Will the online for this game be any good? I haven't played any fighter for this gen because...well, nobody play fighting games anymore and having to commit all those combos to memory is a pain.
I think Mass Effect 3 could be a complete wipeout of all the previous plot lines and characters. It is simply too convoluted should Bioware decides to carry over all the plot elements and characters of ME1 to ME3, thats a lot of baggage. Plus it's a pain in the ass to balance and pace ME3 when you already starts out with an uber crew all locked and loaded with the best weaponry money can buy.
If you're talking about traditional RPGs with hotkeys like Baldur's Gate then yes. But today's RPGs is more of the action variety like Mass Effect and Fallout. As for chances of failure, well it's no higher than cranking out a God of War, Gears of War or CoD clone yet I see no shortage in that regard.
I understand that forging a virtual world for the typical RPG is complex and time consuming, and making that world works both on the PC and consoles is even hard...
Just ordered mine. Usually I hate horror games that turns me into a stationary turret whenever I raise my weapon but for this price, why not.
Finally a list posted on N4G that doesn't suck. But I think Fallout 3: Vegas should be on it somewhere.
It seems that other than Bioware and Bethesda, no one else can make a AAA multiplat RPG.
It would be nice if Sony can score a western RPG exclusive though.
Its the beta, you don't need any pointers. Just go ape shit till you hit the level the cap and start a new character. Repeat repeat repeat.
