not quite as good as the pgr3 thing, but still funny:)
I have no doubt that is one of the things that will be edited out on the 360 version.
but capcom saying they don't comment on rumours, it's exlusive to the ps3 me sounds pretty smashed to me?
maybe they change their minds in the future and it becomes a "timed exclusive" who knows, but they certainly clairified their position right now.
so glad I preordered, can't wait!
seems like a nice improvement, we'll see how it goes:)
pretty sad the great 1
Gears was a HUGE AAA title, one of the hits of E3, and marketed out the wazoo, so of course nothing is selling as well as it
Oh and you forgot to mention oblivion and dead rising sold/still sell well(they aren't shooters).
AAA titles like gear come out once or twice a year...oh wait a minute, halo3, GTAIV, mass effect, assasins creed well, maybe a bit more than 1-2 times a year for some systems.... And then is the tiny AA titles like bioshock, huxley, shadow run, forza 2...
that's hilarious.
however there was snow on the ground in most of the US, before there was any on my igloo...
the wii sold well because it was fun and cheap, a bit of a price drop would look quite nice. Also the ps3 is about to launch amazingly overpriced in europe, MS has a very strong lineup of games right now and could capitalize on some of the sticker shock that is bound to happen.
but we'll see, I have one so a price drop won't affect me at all, but I know quite a few people who are still on the fence about getting a wii or a 360, and may go with the 360 now since wii's are still ...
most people just are not willing to pay that high of a price for a console.
MS NEEDS to listen to what everyone is saying and CUT THE FREAKING PRICE ALREADY!!!
drop it by 50-100$ and they will hit their targets no freaking problem, especially at a point when sony cannot cut their price, they would make a killing.
and it's also quite obvious from the attach rate they have achieved, the software will more than help make up the difference.
I never knew that, it's always just been a given with xbox...that's pretty sad, but then again sony is not known for helping developers with its systems.
I judge from seeing the 2 side by side. oh and also from all the websites reviewing it that way, and all the videos from websites proving it. The programmers complaining about it, the constant games being delayed(but out for other platforms no problem), all the units sitting on shelves.
what more evidence do people need?
oh but maybe it will be good in 2-3 yrs when programmers figure it out. great, then I will buy one in 2-3 years when it's worth it.
the ps3 may be a big part of it, but others have show that if you make GREAT games, you make money.
don't believe me EA? just ask campcom, epic, bethesda.
they made great AAA titles and look, THEY MADE MONEY!.
europeans will have to buy it to see it really is no different from the 360, and in most cases the games actually look worse, japan and NA have figured it out, europe will too.
If the ps3 was as good as sony said it was going to be, the shelves would be empty right now, hell I would probably have one.
did not they learn from US & japan?
everyone wanted one day 1, and by a month later, they were sitting on shelves and being returned, although europe won't have the advantage of there being a strong ebay demand since you can get one pretty much anywhere...
for online there is 2 places to go, PC, or 360.
the rest is just useless.
GREAT game, glad I pre-oredered it, and the halo3 invite is a nice bonus

bioware is another developer
http://www.bioware.com/
they make mass effect, kotor, etc..
I wish I could screw up like that, and I hope they screw up halo3 just as badly.
how will this work for games that haven't been programmed to respond with rumble? will those games have a software patch, or will they just not work?
seems to me sony needs get close with these folks, and fast.
