this should bring them out of the woodwork.
"IGN IS AN XBOX FANBOY SITE ANYWAY!"
sony, pay immersion, get the freaking rumble and get over yourselves.
schoolgirls and seamen just don't mix...
and consumers are responding by closing their wallets.
had sony and toshiba come up with a unified format, they would both be flourishing already. Now they are a useless blip before digital distribution takes over by 2010.
no online multiplayer does take away from what I was expecting.
stil will probably buy it, but some guitar dueling would have been great:)
in fact it should be mandatory for pretty much any XBL game. it was an amazing matchmaking service, and the party system has yet to be beat.
overstock stores so it looks like nobody's buying them and retailers have to start dropping the price in japan just to try and sell them?
-brilliant
on a side note, do you work for sony public relations? your comments seem just about as intelligent.
I go and post my article on how the ps3 is going to be delayed in europe now.
I wouldn't trust the words direct from sony. or MS or nintendo for that matter, they all spin things and fudge number.
the quarterly reports, and independant research groups usually provide the best info. and best to check a few different sources.
all this tells me is that sony shipped 5 million games, not how many are in folks houses.
good job guys, at least good to know I won't be downloading them soon:)
wow.
xbox has no rpg's, can kiss my shiny metal a**:)
I was looking forward to playing this on thursday.
ah well, buying it next month anyway:)
and I bet you still believe that RFOM wasn't any wasted space either...
it would be hard for it to be a major title, that was not annouced yet:)
motorstorm looks better...
and since the OS on the ps3 was so poorly designed, and takes up almost 1/4 of the system resources, stuff like that would be necessary.
That's the problem blu-ray is necessary, for a system designed like the ps3. it's not necessary for anyone else.
graphics have been made for arcade games that look fantastic in under 50 megs of space for XBLA, if they can do that with <50 megs, there is tons more they can do with 9 gigs.
FYI simmoUK, your opinion, stupid as it is, is not news.
I'd like to see how many people have downloaded and watched an HD movie/show from XBL, since both of these formats are useless, and even if 1 of them does win, they will have lost by 2010/11 when digital distribution takes over.
and I though I was naive. they are not losing 300$ "for their fanbase". They are doing it in an attempt to get bluray into homes so they can win a useless format war, and make big $$$ because of it. It has nothing to do with how much they care about you.
and you haven't detected arrogance from them?

it's the top blu-ray player.
which is not hard as half the blu ray players out right now suck balls, and are over priced.
