I download most of my content so I can play it where ever I want, iphone, PC, 360, streamed to work, burned to DVD whatever.
I simply cannot do that without buy 3-4 different versions of the movie/tv show.
if I could buy it once for a reasonable price, I would be downloading a lot less.
because I enjoy gaming but refuse to pay the ripoff prices they want?
I buy games that are worth it,
COD4, gears, halo. stuff that obviously had a lot of work and effort put into it.
I also pay for xbox live, and have bought tons of arcade games and addons for games. I have no problems paying for what I believe is worth it.

I had no problem paying for games last gen, I had a good share of new and second hand games that I purchased, and fel that 40-50$ for a good new game was acceptable, but the increase in prices of new games and the increase in trade in games prices(the charge 5-10$ less than the full retail game, WTF???) turned it into a complete ripoff.

graphics were not what i'd call next gen and not being able to die(nice idea with the mini game, but got repetitive quick).
it is a very worthwhile play though.
speaking as a gold member, I enjoy all these extra perks.
