Assuming Microsoft continues Halo every 3 years, 343i's Halo game will hit in 2013, and since Microsoft has complete control over 343i, they may want to use a Halo title to sell their next console, so it would make a great launch title.

Honestly, I just don't think that the next generation will be announced yet this year, they have been saying that this generation will last longer a lot. And generally they launch in late fall the following year. So I really think we're looking at late fall 2013. Late fall 2012 would be the very earliest, and 2011 is out of the question.

Replays and viewing the car on the menu use a different model than the actual in game models. They did this with Forza 3 as well.
