I totally agree with you that Kinect is crap and that they need more exclusives. However the problem with these games in this list is that they are only good for a couple of play-throughs.
-Heavy Rain is purely a single player game. There's nothing wrong with that, it just gets boring after a while.
-Demon's Souls is probably one of the most frustrating games of all time. And it's just not my style of game.

The PS3 has some great games, but holy crap, it's fanboys are the worst of the worst. I'd rather listen to an uber PC elitist hate on consoles than listen to PS3 fanboys spew a bunch of crap about how much the 360 sucks and how godly they think the cell processor is (which I'd like to point out is not that great).
Halo and Gears of War are better than all of those in my opinion. Heck, if you ask me, Halo alone is worth more than all of those combined.

Counter-Strike requires skill. So no, it won't be able to beat CoD.
Definitely 1080P. I doubt that many developers will opt for 60 FPS though, they'll always want their games to look better, and most of them will require 30 FPS for that.
8GB of RAM, no less. Prepare it for the future so they don't have to stream textures. A sweet CPU and GPU, capable of running the Good Samaritan demo in 1080P.

You obviously haven't played Crysis 1 if you don't think consoles ruined Crysis. Despite having prettier graphics, Crysis 2 still sucks. The gameplay is clunky, player movement sucks and is incredibly consolized, all the weapons are hitscan, and the environments no longer allow any exploration.
I am primarily a console gamer, but consoles did undeniably kill Crysis.
Too bad Crysis 2 still sucks.
Crysis 1 was launched 4 years ago. It's graphics look at least as good as Killzone's and it actually has a good physics engine.

Well, I was contemplating getting MW3. But if I have to pay a monthly fee, then MW3 goes out the window. Battlefield 3 and Skyrim will both be better anyway.

Like we didn't already know that MW3 would beat it in sales. But we all know which game will be better, and it's name is not Modern Warfare 3. I wouldn't want those CoD kids ruining my BF3 experience anyway.

What? I know all of my friends and myself felt naked without her in most of Halo 3 and Halo: Reach. Are we really in the minority about this?
