Define "Nintendo haters".
Am I a Nintendo hater because I think Nintendo screwed up with the WiiU? Like I said, I love Nintendo's 1st parties.
I love Zelda (all of them except 1st 2, too old-school for me)
I love Mario (especially Galaxy 2)
I loved Rare's games, back when they were still with Nintendo (Banjo-Kazooie is still one of my favs)

I love 1st party Ninty games, but honestly, the WiiU is dead. It's another N64/Gamecube situation. If anyone considers those successful, then I guess WiiU is too.
But it would cost Nintendo too much $$ to just duck their head and tuck their tale now.
Bethesda "released" but didn't DEVELOP Dishonored. Arkane Studios did.

My hopes are pretty high this gen. I'm sure we'll see a lot of cool things. I am a little worried about the new money-making schemes the publisher's will inevitably come up with, though.
I'm a Sony fan. I love the DS. But the last time I played a FPS was TimeSplitters 2. Then I started playing FPS on PC, and got spoiled. Now it's really hard to go back. FPS are made for kb + mouse.

I'm a loyal Sony fan!!! Have been since PS1. It doesn't mean that Sony gets a free pass though.
I'm upset because it is a "slippery slope". I have no problem with paying real $$ to help you advance in a game (not everyone can spend 60+ hrs/week on a game).
But whenever consumers allow a company to do something like this, it ALWAYS escalates. Always. Look at the DLC fiasco last gen. If we let this slide, Sony (or PD in this case) will think it's okay to add more MT to future games. Then they'll start taking away parts of the main game, and put it be...
I refuse to buy a $60 game that includes MT.
Even if the game plays exactly like previous GTs, I still refuse to buy into this crap. I guarantee that this is a test. If sales are good, and they make good $$ off MT, you'd better believe that this trend will continue.

Disclaimer: TLoU is one of THE BEST games I've EVER played. Been playing since SNES/Genesis days.
That being said, am I the only one here that kinda doesn't want ND to make TLoU sequel? The game was epic, but I feel like if they were to make a sequel, it would almost take away from what TLoU is. It's hard to explain.

That's exactly what I think every time Fallout 4 is mentioned. I LOVE Bethesda's games, but the bugs and glitches are too much.
And that engine has been kicking around since Morrowind. They just keep updating it. You can only polish a turd so much... The old engine really holds back the games' potential.

EA probably rushed BF4 because they wanted to compete with CoD, even though they're completely different games (besides being shooters).
But honestly, it would have been smarter to do what Ubi did and delay Watch_Dogs so it wouldn't compete with Assassin's Creed (that's why I think they did it). If they delayed BF4 it may have sold a little less, but at least people would respect EA a little. And people would be more willing to dish out for BF5. Now a lot of p...
