At first glance, it does remind me of a PSOne FMV dragon. The lighting looks... off... imho.

It's not that I trust him completely. Obviously we're going to have differing opinions as we're two completely different individuals with different tastes and experiences. What I meant was that I'm confident that if there's something widely viewed as negative about a game (screen tear, too easy, crappy game mechanics/frame rate etc) Joe will not only mention it, but elaborate on it. I'm certain he won't leave anything "big" out of his reviews.
Points for Joe.
This just gives me another reason to hate IGN and what they've become. Angry Joe is trusted for a reason, and sites like IGN and GameSpot are losing hits for (a) reason(s). It's not rocket science.
I would love a remaster of Dragon Quest VIII. Still my favorite RPG.
I like the updated textures, but I really prefer the original music. The remixed versions sound like they were going for a very old-school/retro feel (which I'm normally all for).
Actually, you're wrong. Everything that a company says/does is for a reason. And what is PR? Public Relations. So isn't anything that a company says or does that is in some way directed toward the consumer/public a form of PR? In my opinion, PR is nonsense as a company is "forced" to lie and cheat in order to outshine other companies' PR. If devs always told the truth, we'd never hear anything from devs as they would rarely have good news.
So I agree...
But if the game is accessing the hdd already (which it is as all games for PS4 and XB1 are installed and read from hdd), then the recorded content would have to be recorded in RAM. Otherwise, the hdd would be going crazy and would be unpredictable for devs.
What if the game data is on the beginning of the disc but the recording of the game is done at the end? This is probably why PS4 records 15 mins and Xbox One records 5; PS4 has more RAM to spare as it doesn't have 3 O...
I thought I was the only one who noticed that Colin is pulling a "Sessler". But I only have 2 bubbles, so I didn't want to get marked for trolling.
Best idea ever.

Killzone and Knack weren't given away for free like Titanfall. And Sony seems to be doing fine financially. Microsoft on the other hand seems to be a sinking ship (Xbone, Windows Phone, Windows 8/8.1, Zune, Surface...)
There's always one.
Not watching the video as I don't agree with Sessler's flip-flooping and extreme love/denial for all things MS, but let me guess: he's against VR somehow? (Because, you know, Sony)
All the hype from Titanfall was from M$, EA and shills. I'd say play the game at a friend's house, see if you like it. Or go on Twitch.tv or Youtube and see if it looks fun. Personally, I trust Joe.
It would have to run @ at least 120fps for Morpheus, 60fps per eye. That would mean they would have to dramatically downgrade everything to get that framerate.
Thanks, I've been craving old-school Sonic lately. And these are actually good! The link in the article links me to the second game though, but Google found me 1st and 3rd games.
The Move controllers have all the same buttons as the DS3. Plus, they have the lights on them so the camera can track their position (at 1000 hz!). Although it would suck to have to buy Move controllers on top of the Morpheus AND camera.
Well said. I think most of us use youtube or twitch and ignore the opinion of reviewers, especially from "big" sites like IGN or Gamespot. Or we just watch our friends play a game and judge for ourselves. No one can be trusted in this day and age, except maybe certain smaller sites. People aren't quite as gullible as suits think. If we were, Titanfall would have been the best selling game of all time.
Yes, it is sad. But what is more sad is that companies pay for people to pretend that a "console exclusive" game is the best thing ever or that a certain other company is going to go bankrupt soon. There are trolls and then there are paid trolls (aka, shills).
Square, make me excited about this game again!
