Wait, are you suggesting that review scores are still relevant?
Titanfall may be a great game, but I bet that if scores were much lower you wouldn't mention them.
Personally, I'm extremely skeptical when I see a lot of 8s and 9s. Unless it's GTA.
I bet sales won't be great at all. At least not until they get rid of the subscription. Or give you the option.
Off Topic: I hate Gamespot almost as much as I hate Kotaku.

Are devs not utilizing AF? I would think that's a pretty obvious thing to include in your game...
I'd probably get this if it was for consoles. I HATE mobile and tablet games. And yes, I have played the big hitters and I hate them with a burning passion.
EA seems to think along the same lines as M$: ie, "people are sheeple and easily controlled / manipulated". EA probably liked what M$ had going with their original plan and made a deal with them before XBone was even announced (my opinion!). So now, it makes sense that EA wants XBone to succeed so M$ will have leverage to implement their original Draconian DRM plan on the masses, thus more potential sales for EA and no loss from used games. EA probably figures that there's not m...
I'll just leave this here...

I hate everything Xbox and Microsoft. But if they released Banjo 3 (a REAL sequel, not like Nuts & Boltz! I had the displeasure of playing it) I will have to buy an Xbox One for it. That's the only game I can think of that would warrant a purchase of an Xbone for me. You listening Microsoft?!
But would Ubisoft seriously not even be able to deliver graphics better than GTAV on PS4? That trailer looked worse than GTAV. If the trailer showed previous gen, then fine, that's understandable and this whole situation was just blown out of proportion. But if they downgraded the game so that it doesn't even match GTAV's graphics on PS4 then something is wrong.
My thoughts exactly. Just stated this in another article. I'm waiting to hear about how much of a Sony fanboy I am.
Not every game has been downgraded. Killzone:SF and Driveclub both got better with time (granted, Driveclub isn't actually out yet). And Infamous:SS seems to look the same since it's reveal. Thief seems to look the same since E3.
I'm thinking either
A) Trailer was from PS360 version
B) Ubisoft used their "polishing" time to downgrade PS4/PC version to have parity with XBone (which would also imply that they've been paid...
I guarantee reviews will be great. And MS/EA will make sure Metacritic scores are great. But that doesn't mean that the game will be great. I can't even count how many games got great review scores and turned out to be crap (to me at least). We won't know for sure until we play it. But I have a hunch that there will be a lot of used copies at Gamestop about a week after release.
Am I the only one who would be perfectly content with just a graphical upgrade? Keep the text, keep prerendered backgrounds (but remake from scratch), remake character models... It would be similar to Conker's Bad Fur Day for the original Xbox in that it would just be a graphical upgrade. If they were to make it 3D like FFX or FFXII, I think they'd ruin it. Plus, that would cost a lot more, especially if they throw in voice acting, which they probably would if it was 3D. Either they w...
Really? A review of a beta? Seriously?
Who's hoping for this game on PS4? I hope Sony just lets EA keep it. PS4 doesn't need it. It looks like COD with mechs.
Off Topic: I'm sick of hearing about how Microsoft has all this money to burn. They may be a big company, but they still need to MAKE money. Right now, they're obviously throwing loads of money toward advertisements, media, (timed) exclusive deals, new IPs, etc. They're going to have to make all that money back, y'know. If they bought...
There's definitely something going on. I think it's because mobile sells so well.
Their logic: "If hardcore gamers are willing to dish out $60/$40/$20 for a game every week/month/couple months, imagine how much money we could make if they all switched to mobile and spent all that money on addicting mobile games like Flappy Bird!"
"But sir, how will we ever accomplish such a feat?"
"I know! We'll make a big...
Not cool, man.
Titanfall = too much hype. If the game is good, people will buy it, it has more than enough publicity (too much imho). No need to waste money hyping it up. But if it's bad, people will be much less likely to trust Respawn (and EA, lol) in the future (look at how Fuse turned out). This goes for all games. Too much hype is always bad. Not enough publicity is bad too, though.
Also, a side note, I think Flappy Bird is an experiment to see if hype and talking about a (mobile) ...
I'm so sick of hearing about Flappy Bird! I'm starting to think this is some kind of NSA experiment / agenda. Seriously, anyone who visits N4G on a semi-regular basis is NOT going to give 2 flying #$@!#% about Flappy Bird!
I feel better...
Going to use this as my wallpaper (dreamscene).
What's with the huge mobile push on N4G lately? It's making me noxious...
