I like that we have this new option for playing KZ3. I might use my Move to play it. I'm just not sold yet on that gun peripheral. I'm still debating about it in my head. The 3D would be awesome if I could afford a 3DTV right now. But for now my LG LED 52" will have to do for a couple years. I can't wait for this game. The beta was great and the controls have been fixed, so I don't want to hear any complaining about that.

lmao @ banana nut bread. And people just like to hate on Sony. lol It's sad too cause they give you more for your money.
I hope they do advertise the hell out of this. I wish Sony would advertise ALL their exclusives so people would see that the PS3 is where most of the games are at, exclusives AND multiplats. And its exclusives are games that can't be gotten anywhere else. Sony deserves to be number one this gen, but number two it will most likely be. (The Wii is probably gonna stay number one.)
No, I'm referring to the Eye's ability to play motion games like the Kinect. I'm not referring to Move games. I'm referring to games like Kung Fu Live that is just like Kinect games (maybe slightly less accurate) and it only costs $15 for the game and $40 for the Eye instead of $50 per game (Kinect games) and $150 for the Kinect. Kinect is overpriced. Simple as that.
Ok I'll put it to you this way. It does something I haven't seen done in a Kinect game. It put YOU in the game. It takes your body and somehow green screens away your background and shows you on the screen. It's pretty cool, man. Also, even if Kinect is a little better, it's not so much better that it needed to cost $150. The Eye is only $40. Can you honestly tell me Kinect needed to cost almost 4 times as much as the Eye, or that Kinect is 4 TIMES as much better than ...
...but the fact remains that it's gonna be very difficult to implement Kinect into core games unless they come out with some Move-like controller like Sony. I'm betting the next Xbox will have some sort of motion controller to go along with Kinect 2.0 if not before then. Off topic, I bought that Kung Fu Live game and I have to say that it's cool how you can pay $15 for a game and only $40 for the PS Eye and play the same type of game that Kinect offers for a cheaper price. People really hate Sony this generation. lol It's funny that the company with the more reliable console is hated more than the company with the least reliable console. I'm glad Sony is pushing 3D hard. It's better than them just half-assing it.
Dude, just stop. You're on a Sony-hating rampage. They're not forcing you to buy a 3D TV. It's not like every game on PS3 is 3D only. It's an option! And 3DTV's are becoming more affordable at a faster rate than HDTV's did. You can get like a 46" Samsung 3DTV for around $1400. And 3DTVs are going down in price every day. Just give it some time and stop hating on Sony for wanting to bring 3D to the general populus. 5506d ago 7 agree0 disagreeView comment
I'm proud to say I contributed to this number. A game that has as much content on the disc as GT5 does, deserves to get at least this many sales and will probably go on to sell around 10 million lifetime sales. More games need to learn from GT5. Include all the content you can on the disc and stop leaving stuff out for dlc. Make dlc AFTER you release the game. I'm talking to you Call of Duty MW2, WAW, AND Black Ops. $15 for 5 maps is ridiculous, imo.
Very creative. Bubbles up.
I'd rather Capcom include all the costumes on the bluray disc. I know they'll all fit. Use the damn space on the bluray, like EA does with including extra games with the main game (i.e., Medal of Honor, Dead Space 2)
I hope it can be played with Move and DS3. And I agree on the price. Like you said, CoD map packs cost $15 and this is a whole game for $8 so that has to be taken into consideration. I'm gonna get this most likely.

Also, does anyone think they'll ever talk Activision into implementing Move controls for CoD??
My point is that advertising in games is not something I want to see. With the exception of Home, where it kind of fits more. I can see a future version of PS Home where you can buy clothing in the virtual mall and it be real clothes and you pay $40 for a pair of pants for your Home person and a real pair of pants at the same time, and you get the real pair in the mail. lol A kind of virtual/real shopping experience all in one.
I will be playing LBP2. Day one or day two buy.
Laugh about it all you want, but lots of advertising on our game consoles is not a GOOD thing at all. It's annoying to turn on your console and see advertisements for non game-related stuff. It's even worse when you play your game and there's advertisements in there. Man, you think XBL was making MS enough money. Geez! In my opinion.
Well, actually, Halo is one of those games that doesn't count cause no website in their right mind would give it too low a score for fear of being shunned by 360/Halo fans, of which there are millions. Bad example you gave, but still I understand your point. Still, though, you can't tell me that LBP2 allowing you to use your paid-for dlc and old levels from the first game isn't awesome.
Why would they do that when they can buy timed-exclusives? Oh...wait. lol Of course, they won't be able to buy timed-exclusives much longer anyway since PS3 is gaining serious ground and studios won't sell timed exclusives once the two consoles are on an equal playing field, market share-wise.
Probably made several million dollars by selling MS the site.
"The more realistic a game is the more mainstream it will go." Umm then why does CoD sell like 8-10 million and Killzone and Battlefield fail to sell nearly as many even though they're more realistic than CoD? People usually buy CoD games. It's mainstream cause it's hyped, not realistic. (btw, I'm not a CoD person. Used to be but CoD4 was the last great one i.m.o.)
Yeah Sony is really doing a great job of filling the first half of the year with some stellar games. And the second half will most likely not disappoint either. I really hope Starhawk gets announced as a holiday title.
