They deserve it. The only reason why these people are wanting to hack the PS3 is to play illegal ROMs and try to pirate PS3 games. I hope they get fined at least.
I'm just not interested in paying four times as much for a Kinect as I did the PS Eye to get an experience that's not even twice as good. The price is what turns me off, man. And the fact that no hardcore games support it, as of yet anyway.
Ok. Wasn't aware of that, but I still think they should do more of the things they were showing Kinect do at first. Remember them showing scanning in real objects and putting them in-game. lol I hate when companies show off stuff like that and don't actually implement it.

I wouldn't have a huge problem with it if it cost less. It doesn't need to be $150 when the PS Eye costs $40 and does nearly the same thing. I have Kung Fu Live for PS3 and it works great and it does something the Kinect has yet to do, putting your body in the game. Like literally, it shows YOU in the game.
I think this is a bit over the top, to be honest. Kinect branded shoes...it's just ridiculous. And even if this were Move branded shoes, it would STILL be ridiculous.
I doubt Sony will drop the PS3 to $200 until maybe 2012, but I do see them dropping the price of the lowest PS3 to $250. That would still move quite a few consoles. 250GB PS3 for $250 and 500GB PS3 for $300. Then maybe a 500GB PS3 with Move for $350. A $100 price cut is still a little ways off, but $50 could happen.
Agreed. More tombs and dark places to explore would be nice. Although the rooftop firefights were still hella fun in Uncharted 2.

Yeah, ok. lol Most people would probably like 1:1 motion and something in their hand when they play it, so Move is the best choice. Of course, I see MS eventually releasing their own peripheral to go with Kinect. It's inevitable.

Yeah a PS3 HD remake would be nice. I used to play it all the time on the PS1 and I recently got it for free with PS+ (free or discounted can't remember which).
Damn Nintendo likes to keep giving us the exact same games over and over and over again. Geez. I mean, damn. Mario Kart hasn't evolved visually since the N64 and the gameplay's been the same since the SNES. That's why I like Sony exclusives (and even some MS exclusives improve visually too) because they continue to push the hardware harder with eat iteration of its games. Just look at Uncharted 1 and then U2, and now the screens of Uncharted 3.

I can't wait to play Starhawk. I've never played Warhawk, but I hear good things. I hope we can visit planets and asteroids and explore space. I hope it's not just fighting but also exploring and finding stuff. Would be neat. Maybe planets for dlc.
I was hoping Sony would've gone the iTouch/iPhone route where there would be a PSP2 and then a PSP2 that was also a phone. Would be cool. Oh well, here's to hoping the PSP2 at least has 3G capability so we can buy internet like the iPad where you buy it a few months at a time, instead of a contract. Then we could use Skype on the PSP2 and it would still pretty much be a phone.
Except, don't you have to be directly in front of the screen to get the effect. That shouldn't be a huge problem, but it does show why we don't see this kind of 3D TV much (no glasses kind). This tech is in its infancy.

PS3 IS where most of the games are this next year unless you want Kinect games. PS3 has great MMOs, FPSs, action adventure, etc. etc. Sooo much variety. The PS3 has waaay more exclusives and it can still play all the great multiplats TOO. No compromise!

At least PS+ is GIVING you stuff for your $50 and not just allowing you access to the other part of the game you already paid for like Live. lol PS+ has already given me like $300 worth of stuff and most of it is good stuff. For the money Live is bringing in, MS could offer something similar, maybe a couple free games every week.
Well, if you want to put it that way, my cheap webcam does almost the same thing as your Kinect. And at only a quarter the price. Pretty sad, man. The Kinect should not cost $150. Simple as that. It should cost $50 at the MAX.
