I don't think the PS3 is going to go down to $199. I'm betting it will go down to $250 for the cheapest SKU first. And then maybe early 2012 it will go down to $199. Again, I don't think Sony needs to go down $100 with their next price cut. I hope they do, but I doubt they will. Now, if they do go down to $199, people will be buying PS3s like it's going out of style. The lineup for 2011 and a $199 PS3 would guarantee the PS3 outselling the 360 next year and beyond.
Well, I want a remake of FF 8. I liked it the best of all of them. Squall and Rinoa ftw. Best love story ever.
hahaha Sony would be pissssed! haha It would suck too cause that would be a waste of a perfectly good PS3, you know those machines that only cost $300 yet rival many mid-level PC rigs that cost quite a bit more. :)
I hope GT6 is developed as a PS4 launch title. Just imagine how good initial PS4 sales will be if a GT title launches alongside it. Cause you KNOW the next Xbox will launch with a new Halo. I like GT5 being the only GT game on PS3. We'll just keep on getting FREE updates instead of having to buy another game. It's better to buy ONE game that keeps on updating itself for FREE(GT5) than buy THREE games over the course of a console cycle (Forza 2, 3, and 4). That's what I cal...
I guess I'll be using Move. I'm still debating on whether or not to get one of those gun peripherals. I'd like to but I'm just not sure yet. The official one's pretty expensive. Exactly. The cutscenes in Uncharted 2 are ran with the in-game engine and are rendered at the same time you are watching it. It's NOT pre-rendered. Of course, realistically, except for bragging rights, it doesn't really matter if it's pre-rendered or not, since it's just a cut scene. The difference is the PS3 can do graphics like this in REALTIME and thus doesn't HAVE to be pre-rendered. It's all about showing the power of the PS3.
Well, Activision doesn't decrease the graphics every new game they do, but they sure did with Black Ops. I bought Black Ops and I was like "this looks WORSE than MW2." I was like how the hell did they go backwards with the graphics. MW2 looked decent, but Black Ops looks noticeably worse.

Yep, I hope Versus 13 (the PS3 exclusive) will have towns, world map, free roam, going back to places you already visited, shops to buy stuff, airships, etc. I miss that stuff from the classic Final Fantasies like 8 (which was my favorite.
A PS3 is really where all the games are. I mean you've got more exclusives and the multiplats are starting to look the same as the 360 if not better in a few instances, plus the PS3 is starting to get aLOT of exclusive dlc and free games with the PS3 version of multiplats (Dead Space 2, Medal of Honor, Arkham Asylum).
Unless MS has a 720 up their sleeves for 2011 then the PS3 is going to beat out the 360. MS is in need for a new console. Kinect cannot give them more than a couple years.
Yeah, it's sad that most of the multiplatform games have a 360 logo at the end, but I have noticed more and more are starting to have the PS3 logo/sound at the end.
If they do decide to make Home the interface for the PS4, then that thing will need some serious RAM, like 4GB or more, which I'm kinda hoping for anyway. 8GB might be closer to what the PS4 will be packing. I just hope they stick with the Cell architecture so Backward Compatiblity won't be an issue again. Also, if they stick with the Cell/SPU architecture, developers will have ZERO excuses for not knowing how to program for it, as it will have been a good 7-8 years since the PS3 h...
I'm betting that we'll all have the option to buy our games either digitally via PSN/XBL OR on disc (bluray, DVD). And the next Xbox had better have bluray. It'll be hilarious if they're too stubborn to license bluray for the next Xbox and just stick with DVD again. That would be too funny.
I'd say it would be more likely there wouldn't be a next Xbox than there not being a next Playstation.
