I'm sticking to disc media as long as possible until they figure out a way for me to be able to sell my digital copy or lend it to a friend.
I don't think they'll get rid of the Cell processor. The PS4 will just have MORE SPUs, something like 24 SPUs and maybe 2 Cell Processors, as well as more RAM, maybe 1-2GB.
I think it will still sell pretty well with a $250 price tag. I mean it's a Nintendo handheld and it's 3D, so people are going to eat that $hit up. lol I think the prices on games and systems this gen are getting kind of ridiculous in general. I'm betting the PSP2, as much as I want to buy it, is gonna be out of my initial price range, somewhere around $300-350. I hope it's around $250 like the 3DS, though.
This is the time for Squeenix to show everyone that if they make a FF game PS3 exclusive, it WILL be better than if it's multiplat because they'll be able to take full advantage of the PS3's assets.

So true. I think more and more good RPGs are on the way too. FF Versus 13 will be the one to get me back into RPGs, but I will admit that I wish they had gone with a traditional turn-based battle system for Versus, you know like in the older Final Fantasy games like FF 7 or FF 8.
Yeah, the good thing is that digital comic before you start the game allows you to make the major decisions of ME1, so PS3 version isn't suffering in the slightest.
Don't be ignorant, man. There's no way Activision is going to lose out on all the money the PS3 makes them via Call of Duty games. Sure, the 360 may sell more CoD games but the PS3 still represents millions of sales too. That's alot of money they'd lose out on. Most people don't buy CoD games for the story. They buy it for the online. So, if the online is gone from the PS3 version, PS3 owners will not buy the game.
Yeah, I know. If the PSP2 had a 500 million advertising budget, I'm pretty sure it would outsell the 3DS, for the same reason the Kinect has outsold the Move. I don't really care if the 3DS outsells the PSP2. The PSP2 will still be the better handheld for my needs. I want the best graphics and the best features, and those will both be on the PSP2. I'm also hoping for a new Killzone or CoD game on the PSP2 for playing online with people. It would be cool also if on sports gam...
I expect to see the next PS3 CoD sell dramatically less than this CoD did on PS3. I'll be helping contribute to the decline. I made the mistake of buying this one. I won't make the same mistake twice. I'll just go back to playing CoD4 for the duration of this gen since it's obvious they're never gonna go back to the CoD4 style of online where it was balanced and fun, and wasn't laggy as hell.
Yeah I never beat Omega Weapon either. lol I cheated to get the GF Eden. haha Omega Weapon had like 1 million hp. I wasn't up for that.
Well, I wouldn't care as much about that since it's a remake. Although, I'd prefer it be a PS3 exclusive since that's where it was originally, I wouldn't be as mad about that since I know Squeenix would want to offset the cost of making it. I just want Versus 13 to be PS3 exclusive so we can see all of the PS3's power being utilized.

Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me either. That's what worries me. I hope Squeenix looks at the attach rate between the FF franchise and the PlayStation brand name and sees how well the PS3 is doing sales-wise now, and decides to keep Versus 13 exclusive. Like I said, I just want this one to be exclusive, so we can truly see if FF 13 was held back because it went multiplat. If Versus delivers as a PS3 exclusive, we'll know why FF13 was so bad.

Yeah, I don't understand either. But someone will use a screen capture video recording program and upload it to Youtube within a day anyway. All I know is it better have some Versus 13 footage and it had better not announce Versus 13 on the 360. I don't care if all the other FFs go to the 360. Just give me one exclusive FF (Versus 13) so I can see what the PS3's hardware can really do for a Final Fantasy game.
Just Cause 2 represents all the fun factor that should have been in GTA 4. It was like playing San Andreas all over again, except with grapple hooks. Fun game, though. Plus, it had Youtube upload support for the PS3 version. I put up a few videos on my Youtube. (Pimpnmatt) Yeah, I know I need to change my Youtube username. hahaha
Get it on PS3 so Sony will continue to give us MMOs on our console. Support it like we did.
Either way, Sony seems to be adding more and more value to having a PS+ subscription.
