Yes, you can. I've done it. Of course, the charge cable is short. (You've got to use the cable that you charge your DualShock with.). If you have a USB extension cable, you'll be good to go. Either way, though, it works. The battery life is very good. I'm getting at least 4 hours on a charge.

I picked it up the other day at Best Buy and have been completely satisfied with it. I love the fact there's no wires in my way. The design is classy and minimalistic. The sound quality is great, even compared to Turtle Beach headsets. The virtual 7.1 sounds amazing. Just pop in Restistance 3 or Battlefield BC2 and see what I mean. I recommend this to anyone who has a PS3. And it's miles ahead of the small earpiece Sony released before.

Of course, you know that CoD isn't going to go anywhere even if there's a PS4 and Xbox 720. They'll keep on giving us yearly CoD releases no matter what systems are out.
And regarding this article, I think it would be a smart move by MS. I believe Sony will unify the PS Vita and PS4 experiences in a similar way.
I've been playing Resistance 3 all evening and it's just awesome. It's single player is one the best I've played in awhile.
And regarding this ad, I don't think they meant in any way to refer to 9/11. Just a website looking for hits. Typical.
It's good Sony has released these games on the PS3. I hope that in the future, though, they make a virtual Vita console on the PS3 or PS4 so that we can play its games if you buy the digital version. The games would have even more value if they could be played on both the Vita and PS3/PS4.
I have to admit, if I still had my 360 and was willing to fork out the price of admission for a Kinect, this game would be my first purchase for it. It looks very cool. Reminds me a lot of the Saw movies. These are the types of games we need, not Disney World or Sesame Street.

It's great Sony has all these partnerships, like this, PlayTV, MLB.TV, Qriocity, etc. These consoles are becoming that central hub they've been trying to be for some time.
I'm looking forward to all those (except Halo 4... been there, done that and NI No Kuni...not my type of game), and I'm looking forward to FF Versus 13 and that new Syphon Filter game for PS3 that's been rumored.

I'd like to see Uncharted become a movie or a TV series. Let the main voice actors play the roles and I'd watch it/them.

Yeah, I'd say it's definitely possible it'll get put on those next gen systems eventually. They'll have the power to play it for sure.

I agree. I remember playing Mario 64 back in the day, and I never enjoyed it like I did Super Mario and the old NES Mario games (1 2 and 3). Galaxy 1 and 2 look kinda neat though. However, I think Mario's true strength lies in 2D platforming. It's just how it was meant to be played.
Yeah, I'd love to see everyone's reaction if Sony tried to feed its next-gen handheld (Vita) with a bunch of PS2 remakes. haha Unique and new handheld games are what we need for these handhelds. It's fine if they use existing franchises, but just make new games, not just ports of existing games. Regarding Mario, however, I think they should tone it down a bit. They're waaay past the milking point with that IP.
Umm, if you noticed I used the past tense, as in I was referring to this current generation. Maybe I shouldn't have said "next-gen", but you know what I meant. If the 360 had a bluray drive, or had they stayed PS3 exclusive on the game, the original FF 13 game would have been MUCH larger and longer, thus negating the need for a sequel(s).

The sad part is that if both next gen consoles supported bluray, there wouldn't have been a need for a trilogy. The original FF 13 could have had a lot bigger and longer story, thus it wouldn't have needed any sequel(s).
Resistance 3 does have a great single player. It's much better than 2 was. The atmosphere and realistic particle effects are both great. The online is fun, but I had a bit of lag, though that might be due to my crappy 768kb DSL. haha
I don't know, because I thought most of those fans believed that multiplayer was all that mattered and single player wasn't important. haha I'm pretty sure the real general consensus is that the Uncharted series has the best, most cinematic, gameplay in the single player.
